DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Oct. 23, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Microwave Products Group (MPG), part of Dover (NYSE: DOV) and a leading global provider of integrated assemblies and systems, filters, switches and spectrum operations solutions in the radio frequency (RF) and microwave industry, announced the successful qualification testing and delivery of the first production order of Multi-Channel Broadband RF Multiplexers to the Georgia Tech Research Institute for use in the Air-Force's ALQ-167 Angry Kitten® Electronic Attack Pod program.

Georgia Tech Research Institute is the lead developer for the ALQ-167 Angry Kitten® Electronic Attack Pod program, a state-of-the-art airborne electronic warfare system originally designed as a test asset to improve fighter pilot training, which is now being assessed for potential operational usage. The system can be rapidly reprogrammed and is capable of autonomously responding to radar signals to protect the pilot and aircraft in real-time.

MPG's module is engineered using several technologies that are tightly integrated, assembled and tuned for optimized RF performances. By splitting the wide-band spectrum into multiple, narrower bandwidths, MPG's module improves signal characterization and system performance.
