Insights

DXC won a long-term Master Vendor contract to replace ERP/RM systems and deliver BPO services for the Metropolitan Police Service.

As the awarded Master Vendor, DXC will implement replacement ERP and Resource Management systems and provide BPO across HR, Commercial and Finance, aiming to modernise resource deployment and improve real-time decision-making. The deal, signed with MOPAC on Nov. 10, 2025, runs for 7+1+1 year and explicitly includes Oracle Fusion SaaS, AI capabilities and Strategic Workforce Management for operational policing.

The programme's business mechanism is clear: consolidate and replace legacy systems, centralise business processes, and supply managed services to reduce cost and improve transparency. Key dependencies include timely system integrations, data migration quality, and agreed service levels with delivery partners; failure on any of these could delay expected savings or operational benefits.

Watch execution milestones and contract governance metrics over the next 12–36 months: delivery timelines for ERP/RM cutover, measurable service-level agreements for BPO functions, and progress on integrating Oracle Fusion and AI features. These near-term checkpoints will indicate whether the programme delivers the stated operational and cost outcomes.
