Black brings more than 20 years of aerospace and defense industry leadership experience to Eaton, with a background spanning program management, strategy and business development, operations and business leadership roles. Most recently, he served as president, Defense, GKN Aerospace, where he led a global business supporting key defense platforms and customers. He previously served as president and chief executive officer of Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions, and spent nearly 16 years with DRS Technologies in several key leadership roles, including vice president and general manager, Electro Optical and Infrared Systems.
