private capital advisory financial
A private capital advisory is a professional service that helps companies and investors buy, sell, raise, or value money placed outside public stock markets — think of it as a matchmaker and guide for private investments. It matters to investors because advisers improve access to deals, help set fair prices, and create ways to buy or sell holdings that otherwise lack an easy marketplace, reducing uncertainty and unlocking liquidity.
secondaries advisory financial
Secondaries advisory is a professional service that helps owners of private or restricted shares arrange and price sales of existing stakes to new buyers, similar to a broker guiding someone selling a used car to find a fair price and a reliable buyer. It matters to investors because these advisers influence how easily and at what price shareholders can get liquidity, shape market perception of a company’s value, and can affect future returns and ownership structures.
private markets financial
Private markets are places where investors buy and sell ownership in companies, debt, or assets that are not listed on public stock exchanges — think direct stakes in a start-up, private company, real estate project, or loan. They matter to investors because these deals can offer higher potential returns and diversification but come with less transparency, limited ability to sell quickly, and more uncertainty, like owning a whole house versus trading shares of a real estate fund.
capital formation financial
Capital formation is the process by which businesses and economies gather money needed to grow and operate, for example through reinvesting profits, selling shares, or taking on loans. Think of it as filling a fuel tank that powers expansion, product development, or new projects. For investors, how effectively and cheaply capital is raised affects a company’s growth prospects, profit potential and the risk or dilution of existing holdings.
institutional investors financial
Institutional investors are large organizations, like pension funds, insurance companies, and mutual funds, that invest huge amounts of money on behalf of many people. Their decisions can influence the economy because they buy and sell big chunks of stocks, bonds, or other assets. They matter because their actions can affect market prices and trends.
equity research financial
Equity research is the process of studying a publicly traded company's business, finances and market position to form an informed view on whether its stock is a good investment. Think of it as a detailed inspection and forecast — analysts gather facts, estimate future profits and risks, and then recommend buy, hold or sell; investors use these findings like a weather report to judge potential returns and risks before putting money into a stock.
equity sales financial
Equity sales is the activity of offering and selling shares of a company to investors, either when a company issues stock or when brokers place existing shares with buyers. It matters to investors because it determines how easily shares can be bought or sold, influences market prices through supply and demand, and can signal changes in ownership or capital needs—like a market stall bringing products to customers and setting the price by how many people want them.
agency trading execution financial
Agency trading execution is when a broker or trading firm carries out buy or sell orders on behalf of a client without trading against them or using the broker’s own inventory. Think of it like a driver hired to deliver a package who follows the client’s instructions rather than using the package for their own purposes; this helps ensure the client’s interests guide timing, price and handling. Investors care because it affects transparency, potential conflicts of interest, fees and whether the execution seeks the best available market price.
