Flexible Solutions (NYSE-American: FSI) reported preliminary second quarter 2026 revenue of $7.4 million, down from $11.4 million in Q2 2025, a decline of about 35%. According to Flexible Solutions, the comparison is affected by a one-time $2.5 million research and development services revenue item in Q2 2025 that did not recur.

The company also cited very poor sales by the Florida LLC, which it has since exited, and delays that pushed some Q2 orders into Q3. Full Q2 2026 financial results are scheduled for release after market close on August 14, 2026, with a conference call planned for August 17, 2026.

Positive

  • Exited Florida LLC; direct control of territory According to Flexible Solutions, it has exited the Florida LLC structure and now controls products and sales directly in the territory it obtained, which management believes could help recover a portion of the previous business.
  • Upcoming detailed Q2 2026 disclosure Complete second quarter 2026 financial results will be published after market close on August 14, 2026, giving investors fuller visibility into Flexible Solutions’ performance and financial position.

Negative

  • Q2 2026 revenue down ~35% YoY Top line fell from $11.4 million in Q2 2025 to $7.4 million in Q2 2026, reflecting both the absence of $2.5 million in prior-year R&D services revenue and weaker underlying sales factors.
  • Poor Florida LLC sales in Q2 2026 According to Flexible Solutions, sales by the Florida LLC were described as very poor in the quarter, contributing to the revenue decline and highlighting distribution and channel challenges in that territory.
  • Order shipment delays into Q3 2026 Some orders originally in Q2 did not ship until Q3, which, according to Flexible Solutions, further reduced reported Q2 2026 revenue and shifted a portion of sales out of the reported period.

2 terms
biodegradable polymers technical
"developer and manufacturer of biodegradable polymers for oil extraction"
Biodegradable polymers are plastic-like materials designed to break down into natural components through biological activity, similar to how a kitchen scrap composts in soil rather than lasting for decades. For investors, they matter because they can reduce regulatory and disposal costs, open sales in sustainability-driven markets, and influence supply chains and product lifecycles as consumers and governments favor materials that leave a smaller long-term footprint.
thermal polyaspartate technical
"products utilizing thermal polyaspartate (TPA) biopolymers"
A synthetic, biodegradable polymer made from the amino acid aspartic acid, thermal polyaspartate acts like a long-chain detergent or dispersant that keeps mineral particles and deposits from clumping in hot water and industrial fluids. Think of it as a molecular barrier that prevents scale and sludge the way soap keeps grease suspended in water; its relevance to investors lies in demand from water treatment, cooling systems, detergents, and environmentally driven product shifts that can affect sales, margins, and regulatory exposure.

TABER, ALBERTA, July 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FLEXIBLE SOLUTIONS INTERNATIONAL, INC. (NYSE-AMERICAN: FSI), is the developer and manufacturer of biodegradable polymers for oil extraction, detergent ingredients and water treatment as well as crop nutrient availability chemistry. Flexible Solutions also manufactures biodegradable and environmentally safe water and energy conservation technologies. In addition, FSI is increasing its presense in the food and nutrition supplement manufacturing markets. Today the Company announces second quarter (Q2), 2026 revenue.

Sales were down in Q2, 2026 compared to Q2, 2025. This was largely due to the onetime Q2, 2025, $2.5million, research and development services number that did not repeat in Q2, 2026. In addition, sales by the FL LLC were very poor. Finally, some shipments were delayed into Q3. As a result, Flexible Solutions’ top line revenue shows a decrease from $11.4 million (Q2, 2025) to $7.4 million (Q2, 2026), down approximately 35.0% year over year.

Mr. Dan O’Brien, CEO, comments, “This was an unusual quarter. We executed well but the numbers reflect an historical anomaly. In the 2025 period we had R&D revenue of $2.5 million. In future periods there are likely to be other R&D revenue but it will be random.” Mr. O’Brien continues, “The Florida LLC, which we have exited from, had very poor sales in the quarter. We believe that we can recover much of the business now that we control the products and sales directly in the territory we obtained.” [See the July 3 news release] Mr. O’Brien concludes, “Some orders from Q2 did not ship until Q3 further damaging the Q2 revenue.”

Complete financial results will be available after market close on Friday, August 14, 2026, concurrent with the Company’s SEC second quarter filings. A conference call will be scheduled for 8:00 am Pacific Time, 11:00 am Eastern Time, the following business day, Monday, August 17, 2026. See the FSI August 14, 2026 financials news release for the dial in numbers.
