Key Terms

hashrate, cloud-mining, self-mining, cash and cash equivalents, +3 more
7 terms
hashrate technical
"Our February month-end hashrate declined from the end of January"
Hashrate is a measure of how quickly a computer network can process and verify transactions, often expressed as the number of calculations it can perform in a second. Think of it like the engine power of a car; the higher the hashrate, the more work the network can do in a given time. For investors, a higher hashrate generally indicates a more secure and robust network, which can influence confidence and the value of related digital assets.
cloud-mining technical
"our cloud-mining business continues to generate positive cash flow"
Cloud-mining is a service where people or companies rent remote computing power from a data center to perform cryptocurrency mining instead of buying and running their own hardware. It matters to investors because it shifts upfront costs, maintenance and energy risks to a provider—like leasing a factory instead of owning it—so returns depend on cryptocurrency prices, contract terms and the provider’s reliability rather than just the miner’s equipment.
self-mining technical
"Self-Mining Production | 37 BTC | 46 BTC"
Self-mining is when a person or company uses its own equipment and resources to create new cryptocurrency coins rather than buying them or hiring someone else to mine. For investors, it matters because self-mining turns computing power into an ongoing source of revenue and digital assets, like owning a small factory instead of just selling its products; it affects costs, cash flow, asset holdings and exposure to energy and regulatory risks.
cash and cash equivalents financial
"held 1,830 Bitcoin and approximately $40 million in cash and cash equivalents1"
Cash and cash equivalents are the money a company has on hand plus very short-term, low-risk investments that can be quickly turned into cash, like bank deposits or government bills. Investors watch this figure because it shows a company’s immediate ability to pay bills, cover unexpected costs, and fund operations or growth — like a household’s checking account and emergency fund that keeps daily life running smoothly.
line of credit financial
"outstanding borrowings on our $100 million line of credit to $15 million"
A line of credit is a flexible borrowing arrangement that lets a company draw money up to a preset limit, repay it, and borrow again as needed—similar to a business credit card or an emergency tap on a savings account. It matters to investors because it shows how a firm manages short-term cash needs and growth funding without taking a single large loan; access, cost, and attached conditions can affect liquidity, interest expenses and financial risk.
long-term accounts payable financial
"long-term accounts payable balance decreased to approximately $94 million"
Amounts a company owes that are not due for payment within the next year, such as extended supplier bills, deferred purchases, or installment obligations spread over multiple years. Think of it like a household carrying a long-term utility or appliance bill rather than paying it this month; it affects how much cash the business needs now versus later and helps investors judge the company’s long-term cash commitments, financial stability, and leverage.
power capacity technical
"Total Power Capacity Under Management: 463 MW"
Power capacity is the maximum amount of electrical power a plant, grid connection, battery or device can deliver or handle at a given moment, usually expressed in watts (kilowatts, megawatts). For investors it signals how much revenue a facility can generate, how reliable it will be under peak demand, and what upgrades or permits might be needed — think of it as the horsepower or size of a water pipe for moving electrons.

SINGAPORE, March 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BitFuFu Inc. (“BitFuFu” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: FUFU), a world-leading Bitcoin miner and mining services innovator, today announced its unaudited Bitcoin production and operational metrics for February 2026.

“Our February month-end hashrate declined from the end of January as we maintained a disciplined approach to incremental hashrate procurement to preserve flexibility and avoid committing to longer-term, low-margin contracts. While the near-term Bitcoin pricing environment has softened, our cloud-mining business continues to generate positive cash flow, allowing us to ride out the inherent cyclicality of Bitcoin. Flexibility across the market cycle is a key pillar of our strategy, and that flexibility is underpinned by our balance sheet strength,” said Leo Lu, Chairman and CEO of BitFuFu.

“We remain in a net cash position with strong liquidity. As of February 28, 2026, we held 1,830 Bitcoin and approximately $40 million in cash and cash equivalents1. We also reduced outstanding borrowings on our $100 million line of credit to $15 million from $40 million as of September 30, 2025, while our long-term accounts payable balance decreased to approximately $94 million as of December 31, 2025.”
