Stable Production in Colombia and Accelerating Growth in Argentina
Advancing Strategic Entry Into Venezuela

BOGOTA, Colombia--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GeoPark Limited (“GeoPark” or the “Company”) (NYSE: GPRK), a leading independent energy company with over 20 years of successful operations across Latin America, announces its operational update for the three-month period ended September 30, 2026 (“3Q2026”).

Key Terms

boepd technical
Barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) is a unit that converts all forms of hydrocarbon production—oil, natural gas and liquids—into the energy equivalent of barrels of crude oil and then reports the average output per day. Investors use boepd to compare production scale and growth across companies and projects the way you might compare total calories from different foods: it puts different fuels on a common, easy-to-understand basis for assessing revenue potential and operational efficiency.
bopd technical
bopd stands for "barrels of oil per day," a measure of how much crude oil a well, field, or company produces each day. Investors use it like a water-flow meter: higher daily output usually means more potential sales and cash flow, while declines can signal shrinking revenue or operational problems, making it a key metric for valuing oil producers and assessing production trends.
water cut technical
The share of water in the total liquids produced from an oil or gas well, expressed as a percentage by volume (water ÷ [oil + water]). Measured at the well or separator, water cut rises when more formation or injected water flows with hydrocarbons; higher water cut lowers the volume of marketable oil or condensate and increases handling and disposal needs.
net pay technical
Net pay is the amount of money an employee actually receives on their paycheck after all required deductions—like taxes, retirement contributions, health insurance premiums and other withholdings—have been removed from gross wages. Investors pay attention to net pay because it affects a company’s cash outflows and labor costs, reflects payroll accuracy and compliance (missteps can create tax or legal liabilities), and influences employee morale and retention which can in turn affect productivity and profitability.
hydraulic fracturing technical
Hydraulic fracturing is a method for extracting oil and natural gas that involves injecting pressurized fluid and small solid particles into underground rock to create and hold open tiny cracks, allowing trapped fuel to flow to a well. For investors, it matters because successful fracturing can sharply increase a well’s output and revenue potential, while also carrying higher upfront costs, regulatory scrutiny, and environmental risks that can affect a company’s value.
