Getty Copper Expands Drill Program to Over 20,000 Metres Following Strong Getty South Results
Recently completed financing brings cash to approximately $20 million to accelerate exploration.
Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
Rhea-AI Summary
Getty Copper (GTCDF) has initiated fall drilling and expanded its Getty Project program to more than 20,000 metres in British Columbia. Two rigs are operating at Getty South, replacing a previously planned 4,000–6,000-metre follow-up program with a larger campaign. Spring 2026 drilling returned 46 metres grading 1.47% copper within 150 metres grading 0.71% copper.
A recently completed $15 million flow-through financing brings cash to approximately $20 million. Getty aims to advance towards a mineral resource estimate in 2027 and test other priority exploration targets. No current mineral resource or mineral reserve estimate has been established for the project.
How this balance works
Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.
It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.
Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

(TSXV: GTC) (OTCQX: GTCDF) ("Getty" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has initiated its fall drilling program at the Getty Project, located in British Columbia's Highland Valley Copper District. Two drill rigs are currently operating at Getty South.
Building on results from its spring 2026 drilling campaign, Getty has expanded its previously planned 4,000-6,000-metre follow-up program to include more than 20,000 metres of drilling. The expanded program will initially focus on following up copper mineralization at Getty South, where drilling returned 46 metres grading
The goal of this drill program is to advance towards a mineral resource estimate on the Project in 2027, and to test top priority targets from its large exploration pipeline in the Highland Valley District (see Figure 1 below, and news release dated August 26, 2026).
The expansion of the program follows the Company's recently completed
"We look forward to finding more high grade copper mineralization at Getty South with this expanded program. Scaling up also gives us the bandwidth to begin to test our strong pipeline of newly defined exploration targets.
