Key Terms

oauth technical
OAuth is a widely used technical standard that lets one app or service access another app’s data on a user’s behalf without sharing the user’s password—think of a valet key that opens only certain doors, not the whole car. For investors, OAuth matters because it underpins secure customer logins, third‑party integrations and data-sharing partners; proper implementation reduces breach risk, supports regulatory compliance and preserves user trust, all of which can affect a company’s reputation and value.
jsonl technical
A plain-text data format where each line is a separate JSON object, often called JSON Lines. It works like a stack of index cards where each card holds a self-contained record, which makes it easy for computers to read, write, and stream large volumes of structured data one record at a time. Investors encounter JSONL in market data feeds, press-release distributions, and automated reporting because it supports fast ingestion, incremental updates, and simple machine parsing.
yaml technical
YAML is a human-friendly format for storing and exchanging structured data, like a neatly organized checklist that both people and software can read. Investors encounter YAML when companies publish machine-readable documents, configuration files, or datasets used for automated reporting, regulatory filings, or data feeds; clear YAML makes it easier to verify numbers, automate analysis, and reduce errors that could affect trading or compliance.
mit license regulatory
A permissive open-source software license that lets anyone use, copy, modify and sell code with minimal conditions—typically only that the original copyright and license notice stay with the code. Think of it like a recipe people can freely share and change as long as they credit the original cook. For investors, an MIT license can speed adoption, reduce legal hurdles and make a company’s software easier to integrate or commercialize, which can affect product reach and competitive value.
model context protocol technical
A model context protocol is a set of rules or guidelines that determine how a financial model interprets and applies information within a specific situation. It helps ensure consistent and accurate analysis by clarifying what data or assumptions are relevant in a given scenario. For investors, it provides clarity on how predictions or assessments are made, increasing confidence in decision-making.

The open-source command-line client gives developers, GTM engineers, and AI agents direct access to ZoomInfo's verified go-to-market data from any terminal

VANCOUVER, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ZoomInfo (NASDAQ: GTM), the all-in-one AI GTM platform, has released the GTM.AI CLI, a command-line client for its verified go-to-market data. The tool is now generally available. Revenue teams can search and enrich companies and contacts, pull intent signals, Scoops, and news, and run agentic research directly from the shell.

The CLI is the newest surface on GTM.AI, ZoomInfo's headless GTM context layer. Every command reads the GTM Context Graph, which maintains identity-resolved data on more than 100 million companies, 500 million contacts, and billions of buying signals, continuously refreshed and continuously queryable.

Without a native client, getting that data into a script means manual exports or custom API integration work. Both go stale the moment they ship. The GTM.AI CLI replaces them with a single installed tool that returns live, verified data on every call.

One Command Family for the GTM Data Surface

Installation is one command through Homebrew or npm, with prebuilt binaries for macOS, Linux, and Windows. Sign-in is OAuth in the browser, with no client ID or secret to paste. From there, the `gtm` command family covers company and contact search and enrichment, intent signals, Scoops, news, agentic account and contact research, and the customer's own GTM context. Results return as JSON, JSONL, CSV, YAML, or a table, so output pipes cleanly into warehouse jobs, CRM updates, and agent workflows. Coding agents can call the CLI directly, and the repository ships a skill for Claude Code.

Part of the GTM.AI Ecosystem

The CLI connects to the same hosted endpoint as the ZoomInfo MCP server, sharing credentials and credit consumption, so teams already using ZoomInfo through Model Context Protocol add the terminal surface without a second integration. It joins the GTM.AI integrations already live across Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Salesforce Agentforce, HubSpot Breeze, Gong, LeanData, and Google Workspace.

Governance travels with the data. Access control, permissioning, data lineage, AI policy, and audit logging apply to every CLI call, exactly as they apply to every other surface that consumes GTM.AI. Organizations keep one governance posture across the platform, the API, the MCP server, and the terminal.

The GTM.AI CLI is open source under the MIT license. Search and lookup commands are free. Enrichment and agentic research consume bulk data credits from an active ZoomInfo subscription. Documentation is available at gtm.ai/docs/cli, and the source code is at github.com/Zoominfo/gtm-ai-cli.
