News Explained

The split does not guarantee that Nasdaq listing compliance will be regained or maintained.

The announced split is scheduled for October 23, 2026, so it is not yet effective; a reverse split reduces share count and raises per-share price proportionally, while leaving company value unchanged by itself.

Huachen says the split is intended to support efforts to meet Nasdaq’s minimum bid-price requirement, but it cannot assure that it will regain or maintain compliance.

A CUSIP is a nine-character alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies a U.S. or Canadian financial security—such as a stock, bond, or fund share—like a Social Security number for an investment. It matters to investors because brokers, exchanges and record-keepers use the CUSIP to match trades, track ownership, settle transactions and pull accurate records, reducing errors and ensuring money and securities go to the right place.
