Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Healthcare Triangle (HCTI) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Purpose Health signed multi-year agreements for healthcare technology services. A master services agreement with a university health system covers electronic health record (EHR) optimization and healthcare cybersecurity. A separate multi-year agreement provides IT services supporting a healthcare business unit's Global Capability Center.

The agreements follow Purpose Health's July 2026 launch. The subsidiary also advises hospitals and health systems in Idaho, Vermont and New York on Rural Health Transformation projects using MEDITECH. The federal program provides $50 billion to states over five years; that amount is program funding, not an award to HCTI. Purpose Health is also developing AI solutions for pharmaceutical clients.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

ehr medical
"EHR optimization and healthcare cybersecurity"
EHR stands for electronic health record, a digital version of a patient’s complete medical file that replaces paper charts and collects diagnoses, medications, test results and treatment history in one place. For investors, EHR systems matter because they drive recurring revenue for software and services, affect healthcare providers’ costs and efficiency, and create data assets and integration opportunities that can influence a company’s growth and regulatory risk.
master services agreement financial
"multi-year Master Services Agreement ("MSA") with a university health system"
A master services agreement is a standing contract that sets the main terms, responsibilities, pricing framework and processes for future work between two parties, allowing individual projects or orders to be added later without renegotiating core terms. For investors, it signals predictability and reduced legal friction around revenue streams and costs—like a subscription plan for services that makes future income and obligations easier to forecast and value.

A multi-year MSA for EHR optimization and healthcare cybersecurity, MEDITECH-based Rural Health Transformation advisory work in three states, in addition to a new multi-year engagement to support a healthcare business unit's global technology center

PLEASANTON, Calif., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthcare Triangle, Inc. (Nasdaq: HCTI) ("HCTI" or the "Company") today announced that its wholly owned, AI-led subsidiary, Purpose Health, Inc., has signed a series of multi-year agreements. Purpose Health has signed a multi-year Master Services Agreement ("MSA") with a university health system for EHR optimization and healthcare cybersecurity; in addition to signing a multi-year agreement to provide IT services supporting the Global Capability Center (GCC) of a healthcare business unit, among other recent successes. The wins arrive just three months after Purpose Health's July 2026 launch under Chairman and CEO Sumit Ganguli.

Momentum at a glance

  • A multi-year MSA with a university health system: EHR optimization and healthcare cybersecurity services.
  • Rural Health Transformation advisory: work with hospitals in Idaho, Vermont and New York using MEDITECH, under a federal program that provides $50 billion to states over five years.
  • A multi-year Global Capability Center agreement: IT services supporting the GCC of a healthcare business unit.
  • Agentic AI from real hospital work: EHR-agnostic AI agents built around everyday tasks such as claim denials and Medicaid renewals.
  • Industry standing: an invitation to join the CHIME Foundation, the industry partner arm of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).
  • Proven roots: more than 15 years of experience with healthcare providers in EHR and managed services, and seven years supporting life sciences and pharma companies.

The Foundation Behind the Wins

Purpose Health is spending its first months side by side with clients, visiting them onsite and appearing at the fall's major healthcare IT events. These include Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference in Chicago, where it showcased its EHR expertise and agentic AI solutions, MEDITECH LIVE in Foxborough, Mass., in addition to prospective events such as Open@Epic in Verona, Wis., and the CHIME Fall Forum in Aurora, Colo.

The work is taking shape in three areas:

  • Health systems and rural hospitals. Purpose Health is working with university health systems on EHR assessments, benchmarking against peer organizations and large-scale optimization. It also advises hospitals and health systems in Idaho, Vermont and New York on projects under the Rural Health Transformation Program and on getting full value from their states' awards. Every state received a first-year award in December 2025.
  • Agentic AI built from real hospital work. Purpose Health has designed EHR-agnostic AI solutions, each based on tasks hospital staff do by hand today: tracking Medicaid renewals so patients keep their coverage; working claim denials, assembling appeals and flagging underpayments; coordinating patient transfers and returning patients to their home community for follow-up care; and checking that the procedure, site and side agree across the record before surgery. Each solution keeps a person in the loop for decisions that affect patients or payment.
  • Pharma and life sciences. Purpose Health has supported life sciences and pharma companies for seven years in validation, data management and cloudification, and is now developing AI solutions for pharma clients.

The invitation to join the CHIME Foundation puts Purpose Health alongside the CIOs and digital health leaders it serves.

"Purpose Health is off to the start that we had committed to," said Mr. Ganguli. "University health systems want their EHRs assessed and tuned, rural hospitals want their Rural Health Transformation dollars to count, and CIOs want AI that takes real work off their staff. We built Purpose Health for this work, and we are heading into 2027 with momentum."
