On Sept. 4, a range of service projects will take place across key cities addressing nutrition and food insecurity, supporting military families and more. This expanded day of service is made possible through the generosity and collaboration of numerous local and national community partners. A snapshot of these volunteer opportunities include:

Assemble nutrition and care packages at Louisville Slugger Field that will be distributed to non-profit organizations throughout

Collaborate with local artist Jaylin Monet’ Stewart, in partnership with Louisville Visual Art Association, to paint a mural exemplifying the spirit of Humana Community Day on Humana’s Brook Street Garage, part of Humana’s Waterside campus in downtown

Complete beautification projects with Parks Alliance of
Louisville at Alberta O. Jones Park and support continuing cleanup efforts in Waterfront Park from the downtown flooding.

South Florida and FeedingTampa Bay facilities, whose services support over a millionFlorida residents annually through food pantries, soup kitchens, group homes, shelters, childcare centers, and more. - Conviva Broward County employees will gather at the Ft. Lauderdale War Memorial to package 100,000 meals with US Hunger to be donated to Feeding South Florida.

Sort and package food items at the San Antonio Food Bank campus that serves up to 100,000 individuals a week in one of the largest service areas in
Southwest Texas . A portion of the food packages will support military families.
- Prepare meals and chop produce at the D.C. Central Kitchen headquarters alongside its staff and members of their culinary training program that will be delivered to schools and other organizations throughout the D.C. area.
