Analysis

The stock dropped -20.7% in the session following this news. A negative reaction despite this scheduling-focused update fits a pattern where corporate actions around governance and strategy sometimes coincided with pressure, such as the -20.86% move after leadership changes on November 12, 2025. The postponement of the EGM to May 29, 2026 and reset record date to May 1, 2026 may have been viewed as extending uncertainty around shareholder-driven board and management proposals, even though no new financial information was disclosed.

Recent Company History

Leadership changes on November 11–12, 2025 around the new Chief Strategy Officer coincided with a -20.86% reaction. Service expansions announced on August 28, 2025 around PCB and SMT offerings prompted a modest -1.22% move. Key Terms

record date, proxy materials
2 terms
record date regulatory
"the record date for determining shareholders entitled to receive notice of and to vote"
The record date is the specific day when a company determines which shareholders are eligible to receive a dividend or participate in an upcoming vote. It’s like a cutoff date; if you own the stock on that day, you get the benefits or voting rights. This date matters because it decides who qualifies for certain company benefits.
proxy materials regulatory
"expects to issue updated notice of meeting and related proxy materials in due course."
Proxy materials are the packet of documents sent to shareholders that explain items to be voted on at a company meeting and include the actual ballot or instructions for casting a vote. Think of them as a voting packet that lays out who’s running the company, major proposals (like pay, mergers, or board changes), and arguments for and against each item. Investors care because those votes shape corporate direction, affect risk and future profits, and can influence share value.
