LAKE OSWEGO, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- KinderCare Learning Companies, Inc. (NYSE: KLC) (“KinderCare”), a leading provider of high-quality early childhood education and care, today announced a new addition to its curriculum: Spanish Foundations.

Spanish Foundations is the newest addition to KinderCare’s Learning Adventures program: small group enrichment classes offered in KinderCare Learning Centers for children ages 2-12. Other Learning Adventures classes include cooking, music, STEM and phonics.

“Young children are natural language learners. Our new Spanish Foundations program introduces children to another language in a playful, positive way,” said Dr. Lisa Grant, vice president of education for KinderCare. “Learning a new language helps children build their communication skills, develop pattern recognition, and create connections between cultures and communities.”

Children at KinderCare centers across the country will meet with a dedicated Learning Adventures teacher twice a week to learn Spanish words and phrases through an exploration of the music, art, stories, and traditions of Spanish-speaking cultures.
