Koryx Copper (KRYXF) expects to publish the pre-feasibility study for its wholly owned Haib Copper Project before the end of November 2026.
The study base case now processes 48 million tons annually, with coarse particle flotation rejecting approximately 12 million tons of low-grade material before the main flotation circuit. Heap leaching is no longer expected in the base case. Metallurgical testing is nearing completion, and conversion drilling is complete. A tailings site has been selected to accommodate approximately 1.15 billion tons over the mine's life.
Estimated annual electricity consumption is 1.45 TWh; NamPower is reassessing the increased load before an updated supply offer. The Orange River is the preferred water source. Environmental clearance applications have been submitted, with Koryx expecting a potential decision before the end of 2027. Clearance is required for the project to proceed and is a condition of the mining license.
