Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

4 terms
non-gaap financial measure financial
"In constant currency, a non-GAAP financial measure, which excludes the impact of foreign exchange"
A non-GAAP financial measure is a way companies present their financial results that excludes certain expenses or income to show how they believe their core business is performing. It matters because it can give a clearer picture of how the company is really doing, but it can also be used to make results look better than they actually are.
constant currency financial
"In constant currency, a non-GAAP financial measure, which excludes the impact of foreign exchange"
Constant currency is a way of measuring financial results that removes the effects of changes in currency exchange rates. It allows for a clearer comparison of a company's performance over time by showing what the numbers would look like if exchange rates had stayed the same. This helps investors understand whether growth comes from actual business improvements or just currency fluctuations.
adjusted ebitda financial
"Adjusted EBITDA(1) was $84.5 million for the trailing twelve months ended September 30, 2026."
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
rule 10b5-1 trading plans regulatory
"which may or may not be pursuant to Rule 10b5-1 trading plans"
Rule 10b5-1 trading plans are written, pre-arranged instructions that allow company insiders (such as executives or directors) to automatically buy or sell their company's stock at specified times or under set conditions, like a standing instruction or automated thermostat for trades. They matter to investors because these plans provide a legal defense against insider‑trading accusations and create predictable insider trading patterns that can help signal whether sales are routine portfolio management or potentially meaningful to the company’s outlook.

Adjusted EBITDA is defined as net income (loss), adjusted to exclude income tax (benefit) provision, interest, net, depreciation and amortization, gain on disposition of fixed assets, mark to market (gain) loss on interest rate derivatives, stock compensation expense, non-cash rent adjustment, loss on extinguishment of debt, and other items detailed in the table above that are consistent with exclusions permitted by the Company’s debt agreements. The quarters ended December 31, 2025, March 31, 2026, and June 30, 2026 have been recast for non-cash rent expense, to reflect the new definition of Adjusted EBITDA according to the Company's debt agreements.

(5) Adjusted EBITDA, less specified adjustment for the trailing twelve months ended September 30, 2026 was $44.4 million. It is used in the calculation of the Fixed Charge Ratio and minimum Adjusted EBITDA financial covenants. Adjusted EBITDA is defined above. The specified adjustment is defined as the IEEPA tariff refunds pursuant to the February 20, 2026 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that has been included in Net Income for the trailing twelve month period. IEEPA tariff refunds for the trailing twelve months ended September 30, 2026 was $40.1 million.
