The award supports continued development of technology built by the Kudu Dynamics team, which Leidos acquired in 2025.

Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

RESTON, Va., Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Cyber Command selected Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) to further develop the first integrated digital platform designed to help cyber operators plan, coordinate, and assess missions through a single, unified environment.

A $99 million Other Transaction Authority (OTA) prototype agreement was awarded for continued development on this next-generation cyber planning system.

"We've equipped U.S. cyber operators with a platform that has significantly shortened mission planning cycles to less than 24 hours in some cases," said Jason O'Connor, Leidos Intelligence president. "Developed by our Kudu Dynamics team, this technology delivers mission planning, execution and assessment to the cyber mission at speed and scale."

The platform is designed to bring together traditionally separate workflows and tools into a single integrated system. The platform also has a modular architecture that's intended to support integration with government and third-party technologies as mission needs change, allowing for flexibility in how the platform is developed and sustained.

Leidos acquired Kudu Dynamics in 2025 to expand its cyber technology, engineering and mission-support capabilities. The award advances Leidos' NorthStar 2030 strategy, with cyber as a key growth driver and an increasingly critical component of how the U.S. military competes and conducts modern warfare across domains.
