Key Terms

large language model, on-premises deployment, agentic workflows
3 terms
large language model technical
"powered by Huazhi Future’s proprietary large language model"
A large language model is a computer system trained on vast amounts of text to understand and generate human-like writing, like a very well-read virtual assistant that can summarize, draft, translate, or answer questions. Investors care because it can change how businesses operate and compete—boosting productivity, cutting costs, or enabling new products—while also creating risks around accuracy, regulation, and security that can affect revenue and valuation.
on-premises deployment technical
"secure on-premises deployment and regulatory compliance"
On-premises deployment means installing and running software or IT systems on hardware that a company owns and operates at its own physical location, rather than using externally hosted cloud services. For investors, it signals how a business manages costs, control, security and scalability—like owning a building instead of renting space—because on-premises setups typically involve larger upfront capital expenses, dedicated maintenance and different operational risks compared with cloud-based alternatives.
agentic workflows technical
"industry-specific large-model applications, enterprise knowledge-base enhancement, agentic workflows"
Agentic workflows are sequences of tasks where software 'agents' act on their own to move information, make routine decisions, and trigger actions across computer systems with minimal human hand-holding. For investors, they matter because they can cut labor and processing time much like replacing a row of manual cashiers with self‑serving kiosks, improving margins and speed but also introducing new operational, security and regulatory risks that can affect costs, reliability and compliance.
