6 terms
endovascular medical
"developer and distributor of the innovative LIBERTY® Endovascular Robotic System"
Endovascular describes medical procedures performed inside blood vessels using thin tubes, wires, and implantable devices guided by imaging—like repairing a broken pipe from the inside rather than opening the wall. It matters to investors because these less-invasive techniques can shorten hospital stays, lower complication rates and create demand for specialized devices and imaging equipment, so changes in adoption, regulation or reimbursement can materially affect healthcare company revenues and margins.
service-disabled veteran-owned small business regulatory
"will become Company’s Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) vendor"
A service-disabled veteran-owned small business is a privately held enterprise that is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more veterans who have a service-connected disability. For investors, this designation signals access to government contracting preferences and set-aside opportunities, similar to a vendor having a reserved lane at a busy terminal, which can create predictable revenue streams and reduce competition in certain markets.
sdvosb regulatory
"Listing products with Lovell is expected to streamline the sales process while helping government agencies meet their SDVOSB procurement goals."
Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) is a government designation for a small business where one or more owners are veterans with service-connected disabilities. For investors, this label can signal access to dedicated government contracting opportunities, set-aside purchases, and potential revenue stability from public-sector work—similar to having a preferred lane for certain sales—while also indicating management may have veteran leadership and related operational priorities.
federal supply schedule regulatory
"LIBERTY System will be added to Lovell’s Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract"
A federal supply schedule is a government-approved list of products and services sold to federal agencies at pre-negotiated prices and terms, like a vetted catalog that agencies can order from without redoing contracts each time. For investors, being on such a schedule can mean steadier, predictable sales, lower marketing and sales costs to the government, and a competitive advantage that can help revenue grow more reliably over time.
gsa advantage regulatory
"also be accessible through additional federal procurement platforms, including GSA Advantage"
GSA Advantage is the U.S. General Services Administration’s online marketplace where approved vendors offer goods and services to federal agencies. For investors, appearing on this platform is like a store opening in a guaranteed, high-volume shopping mall: it can provide steady government sales, easier contracting, and added credibility with large institutional buyers, which can make revenue more predictable and lower sales risk.
dapa regulatory
"Electronic Catalog (ECAT), and the Department of Defense’s Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA)."
Dapagliflozin (often abbreviated DAPA) is an oral medicine that helps the body remove excess sugar by blocking a kidney transport protein; it was developed for type 2 diabetes and is also used to treat certain heart and kidney conditions. Investors watch DAPA because clinical trial results, regulatory approvals, price changes, and patent status directly affect its sales potential—like a major product line whose success or failure can meaningfully change a company's revenue.
