Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Coking (metallurgical) coal operations

Coking coal prices in China rebounded strongly during the quarter ended 30 September 2026, driven primarily by constrained supply from domestic producers. Market price movements for washed mid-volatile hard coking coal (“MV HCC”) sold by the Group through auctions on the Mongolian Stock Exchange (“MSE”) commodity exchange platform under delivery-at-place Ganqimaodu (“DAP GM”) terms during the period from 1 January to 30 September 2026 are shown in Chart 1 below (publicly available source: https://www.mse.mn/trade).

Note: Each dot represents individual batch of 12,800 tonnes of MV HCC successfully auctioned via MSE commodity exchange trading platform, with prices shown in RMB per tonne under DAP GM terms, exclusive of the applicable 3% import duty and 13% VAT in the PRC.

During the quarter ended 30 September 2026, the number of coal-loaded trucks crossing the border to GM decreased to an average of 897 trucks per operating day, 34% and 29% lower than the averages of 1,366 and 1,270 trucks per operating day for the quarters ended 30 June 2026 and 31 March 2026, respectively. Nevertheless, the year-to-date average of 1,177 trucks per operating day as at 30 September 2026 was 15% higher than the average of 1,023 trucks per operating day for the year ended 31 December 2025.
