The Remake of the Iconic Video Game Series to Feature El Rey Theatre and Other In-game Branding Honoring The Roxy

News Ushers in “THPS Fest” – an Epic Celebration at The El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 8 for the New Game, With Performances by Danny Brown, Lupe Fiasco, Adolescents, and Urethane

On July 11, two legendary games return with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, remade from the ground up and blending the classic content that fans loved back in the 2000s with an incredible attention to detail, featuring new skaters, gnarlier tricks, an even sicker soundtrack, and, for the first time in over a decade – brand-new parks!

As part of this exciting collaboration, iconic venues owned and operated by AEG Presents will be featured in the game. Most notably, The El Rey Theatre exterior was digitally recreated to live permanently in the Los Angeles level of the game. Goldenvoice, the premiere California promoter and subsidiary of AEG Presents, and The Roxy, one of Los Angeles’s most storied and celebrated venues, will be featured on in-game billboards throughout the Los Angeles level of the game.

To celebrate the return of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, Activision will be hosting a livestream event for the public on Thursday, May 8 at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, featuring live performances by Danny Brown, Lupe Fiasco, Adolescents, and Urethane - all of whom are featured on the game’s official soundtrack. Hosted by Selema Masekela and Nora Vasconcellos, who recently joined the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 skater roster, the event will also feature appearances by some of the new and returning skaters to the game’s line up including Chloe Covell, Aurélien Giraud, Leo Baker, Kareem Campbell, Geoff Rowley, Tony Hawk and many more.
