emg medical
Electromyography (EMG) is a diagnostic test that measures the tiny electrical signals produced by muscles when they contract, using sensors placed on the skin or small needles inserted into the muscle. For investors, EMG results matter when they relate to medical devices, drugs, or therapies because clear improvements or safety signals can indicate clinical benefit and drive regulatory approval, market adoption, and potential revenue—similar to an electrician testing wiring to confirm a building is safe and functional.
orthosis medical
A orthosis is a medical device—such as a brace, splint, shoe insert or support—worn outside the body to support, align, protect or improve the function of a limb or the spine. For investors it signals a part of the healthcare equipment market tied to durable product sales, reimbursement rules, regulatory approvals and ongoing demand from hospitals, clinics and patients; changes in coverage, technology or aging demographics can affect revenue and profit outlooks for companies that make or supply them.
