Niki BioSolutions (NIKI) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, DiamiR Biosciences, signed an agreement to provide APOE genotyping for Charter Research.
The agreement allows Charter’s clinical research sites to use Niki’s testing platform, accredited by the College of American Pathologists and approved by the New York State Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program. APOE is a genetic risk factor studied in neurodegeneration, and its status is increasingly used to inform eligibility, safety monitoring and risk grouping in Alzheimer’s trials. Charter operates research centers in Florida and Illinois and has served as an investigative site for late-stage Alzheimer’s programs.
Niki BioSolutions (NASDAQ: NIKI) announced that subsidiary DiamiR Biosciences was selected to participate in the International Rett Syndrome Foundation’s “Rett Research Tool Belt” series.
The interview covers the company’s blood-based approach to monitoring Rett syndrome severity, progression and potential treatment response. Its panel, still in development, consists of 44 microRNAs enriched in the brain and other affected organs. The panel was evaluated in blood samples from over 200 individuals with and without Rett syndrome in two clinical biomarker studies conducted with Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Niki BioSolutions (NASDAQ: NIKI) announced that subsidiary DiamiR Biosciences will perform plasma-based APOE genotyping for the Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation’s Bio-Hermes-002 study.
DiamiR will use its New York State-approved assay on banked plasma, adding genetic information without additional blood draws. APOE genotyping identifies variants of a gene associated with Alzheimer’s risk. Bio-Hermes-002 is an observational study comparing blood-based and digital biomarkers with amyloid PET imaging and cognitive assessments, emphasizing recruitment from underrepresented communities. The resulting genetic data will be integrated with the Bio-Hermes dataset and may be available to researchers consistent with GAP’s data-sharing practice.

Niki BioSolutions (NIKI) announced that its subsidiary DiamiR Biosciences has engaged Fios Genomics to provide bioinformatics and biostatistical analysis for its Alzheimer’s disease testing program.
Fios Genomics will analyze and interpret multi-omics and other complex biological datasets generated across the program, aiming to sharpen target and biomarker decisions and help advance Niki’s Alzheimer’s assays through the development pipeline. The company highlights that rigorous, reproducible analysis is essential for identifying meaningful biological signals, validating biomarkers, and guiding decisions at each stage of development.
Under the engagement, Fios Genomics will deliver end-to-end analytical support, including data quality assessment, statistical analysis and interpretation of current datasets, and clear, decision-ready reports for Niki’s research and development team. The resulting insights are expected to inform target and biomarker prioritization and support the design of subsequent validation studies within the Alzheimer’s pipeline.

Niki BioSolutions (NIKI) announced that its subsidiary DiamiR Biosciences entered a strategic agreement to provide Apolipoprotein E (APOE) genotyping services to Progressive Medical Research (PMR) for ongoing clinical and translational research programs.
According to Niki BioSolutions, PMR will use the company’s CAP- and New York CLEP-approved testing platform and laboratory infrastructure to integrate validated APOE genetic data into clinical trial workflows, particularly in studies related to Alzheimer’s disease, cardiovascular health, and lipid metabolism. The collaboration aims to advance precision medicine and generate actionable genetic insights for Alzheimer’s research. Financial terms were not disclosed.
