LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Northern Trust Wealth Management has appointed Candice Nakagawa as Family Office Solutions Managing Director for the West Region. Based in Los Angeles, Nakagawa will help lead the delivery of integrated services for affluent families whose financial lives have reached family office-level complexity.

As more families increasingly manage wealth across generations, businesses and jurisdictions, Family Office Solutions helps coordinate multiple advisors, strengthen governance and bring together investment, fiduciary, tax, philanthropic and estate planning strategies. Nakagawa will report to Pam Lucina, Head of Family Office Solutions.

Nakagawa most recently served as Executive Vice President and Western Region President at Wilmington Trust. Previously, she was Private Wealth Management Market Leader at U.S. Bank and held multiple leadership roles at MUFG Union Bank.

Nakagawa holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a BA from the University of California, San Diego. She is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. Nakagawa’s community involvement includes supporting nonprofit organizations focused on economic education and women’s leadership.
