Patrick Industries, Inc. Reports Third Quarter 2026 Financial Results
Growth outside RV nearly offset weaker RV sales, but quarterly net income and nine-month operating cash flow declined.
Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
Rhea-AI Summary
Patrick Industries (NASDAQ: PATK) reported third-quarter 2026 net sales of $975 million, nearly unchanged from the prior-year quarter.
Net income fell to $21 million, or $0.64 per diluted share, from $35 million, or $1.01. Operating margin declined to 5.1% from 6.8%, while adjusted operating margin remained 6.8%. Adjusted diluted EPS rose to $1.03 from $1.01, and adjusted EBITDA increased 3% to $116 million. Marine, Powersports and Housing revenue grew 14%, 30% and 4%, respectively, nearly offsetting a 15% RV revenue decline.
Nine-month operating cash flow fell to $147 million from $199 million. Quarter-end liquidity was approximately $716 million, with approximately $1.4 billion of debt and net leverage of 2.9x. The pending all-stock merger with LCI Industries advances to a November 18, 2026 shareholder meeting after the registration statement became effective October 19.
How this balance works
Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.
It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.
Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

"Our strategic market diversification and business model, in addition to our focus on innovation and product solutions for customers, continued to drive resilient results in the third quarter," said Andy Nemeth, Chief Executive Officer. "Our team drove revenue growth in our Marine, Powersports, and Housing businesses, delivering consolidated net sales in line with the prior year, despite lower revenue in our RV business resulting from a decline in RV industry wholesale unit shipments. We remain focused on managing what is in our control, including making strategic adjustments to preserve the capacity, capabilities, and talent needed to serve our customers today and in the future. We are continuing to drive our capital allocation strategy as a result of our strong cash flow generation to invest in strategic opportunities that we believe can deliver meaningful value for our customers, team members, and shareholders over the long-term."

Jeff Rodino, President, said, "Our markets remain dynamic with continued macroeconomic headwinds, including high interest rates, elevated fuel costs and inflation, resulting in a further softening in consumer confidence. In Marine, our team has been successful in gaining content through new product and solution innovation, while benefitting from relative strength at the premium end of the market. Our Powersports business continued to see sustained strength in utility vehicle demand, which aligns well with our cab enclosure offerings. RV OEMs and dealers have remained disciplined in managing field inventory levels in response to lower retail demand. Importantly, we continue to invest in advanced manufacturing and innovation to bring new products and solutions to market. This quarter, we launched Patrick Printing Solutions, a direct-to-panel printing platform that applies high-resolution graphics and physical textures directly onto composite, wood, and other substrates, giving customers greater design flexibility and the ability to differentiate across both value and premium price points."
