Halle Capital-backed True Environmental Welcomes Neal Weitman as Chief Operating Officer and Dean Harwood as Chief Financial Officer

Appointments of industry veterans enhance depth and breadth of expertise across True Environmental's platform

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- True Environmental ("True" or the "Company"), a platform focused on partnering with founder and employee-owned environmental consulting and engineering firms to provide capital solutions, today announced that Neal Weitman and Dean Harwood have joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, respectively.

Mr. Weitman is an accomplished professional who possesses more than 30 years of experience, spanning projects across the transportation, infrastructure, water, and environmental end markets for government agencies and private clients. Over the last decade, Mr. Weitman has held executive leadership roles with WSP, a leading professional services firm, and predecessor companies. Neal brings successful M&A experience and recognizes the key to all successful mergers is an appreciation for the acquired entities’ cultures, investment in and retention of staff, and supporting initiatives focused on top-line growth to achieve goals. Mr. Weitman also worked closely with Jim Stamatis, CEO of True, for more than 20 years while at Louis Berger, prior to the company’s sale to WSP. Earlier in his career, Mr. Weitman was President and CEO of Berger, Lehman Associates, an engineering and consulting company specializing in critical, large infrastructure projects.

Mr. Harwood brings more than two decades of experience across the environmental consulting and engineering industry to True. He joins the Company from Environmental Consulting and Technology, Inc. ("ECT"), where he served as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the company's Board of Directors. Prior to ECT, he served as President of Strategy and Development for the U.S. western region at Wood plc (LSE: WG), a leader in the delivery of project management, engineering, construction, consulting, and industrial services to customers across a variety of end markets. Before that, Mr. Harwood spent 16 years in various senior roles at Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN), including Business Unit Chief Financial Officer and eventually Executive Vice President of Operations and President of Parsons Enterprises.
