Currently, published research in these tools is referenced without consistent attribution, without a link to the authoritative article, and without publisher visibility into content usage and user demographics.
The Scite Publisher Gateway provides the infrastructure for publishers to solve those challenges. Once indexed, publisher content surfaces in AI responses with citation context and direct links to verified article text, with attribution metrics reported in the publisher's dashboard. - Discoverable through the Scite MCP using Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and other MCP-compatible AI tools. Research Solutions will manage indexing, transformation, authentication, and integration; no technical lift required from MDPI.
- Represented accurately, with AI responses grounded in verified article text and linked to the Version of Record on MDPI's platform. This approach reduces the risk of hallucinated or misattributed findings.
- Measured through article-level analytics that indicate which articles are accessed, by which organizations, and across which AI platforms.
