NEW YORK, June 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Standard Motor Products, Inc. (NYSE: SMP), a leading automotive parts manufacturer and distributor, has been recognized as one of Newsweek's America's Greatest Workplaces 2025 and was also named one of America's Greatest Workplaces in Manufacturing. These lists recognize the greatest workplaces in the United States based on their performance on a range of metrics from the perspective of employees, including corporate culture, working conditions, and other aspects of their current employer and other companies they are familiar with.

Eric Sills, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of SMP, stated, "We are proud to be recognized as one of America's Greatest Workplaces for 2025. At SMP, our employees are our most valued resource and the biggest part of what makes SMP succeed. That's why we have worked hard to create meaningful connections with our employees and provide multiple resources to ensure their success both professionally and personally."

After a target-setting survey summary in which HR professionals were surveyed to determine the most important drivers of employee satisfaction, a large-scale employee survey was calibrated. Employees were then surveyed in ten categories including mental wellbeing, job security, work-life balance, working environment, company image, community, sustainability and awareness, compensation and benefits, training and career progression, and corporate culture. In total, more than 400,000 interviews were conducted and nearly 5 million company reviews were analyzed when compiling the list.
