Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

SenesTech (SNES) reported preliminary third-quarter 2026 revenue of approximately $1.1 million, its highest quarterly revenue and second consecutive quarterly record. Revenue grew approximately 40% from the second quarter of 2026 and approximately 55% from the third quarter of 2025. This was its first quarter at or above $1 million.

The company expects definitive results to reflect continued e-commerce momentum, including higher subscription revenue expanding its recurring revenue base, and increasing traction in business-to-business sales. It also expects continued improvement in metrics as earlier investments and transition costs increasingly fall behind it, alongside revenue growth and improved unit economics. Definitive results are planned for the week of November 9, 2026. Preliminary revenue is unaudited and subject to adjustment and completion of quarter-end closing procedures.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

"strong revenue growth and improved unit economics"
Unit economics analyzes the profitability of a single product or service by comparing the revenue it generates to the costs involved in producing and delivering it. It helps determine whether each sale contributes to overall profit, much like assessing if selling one item covers its production costs and leaves money left over. Investors use this to judge if a business model is sustainable and capable of growth.

Preliminary Revenue of $1.1 Million is the Highest Quarterly Revenue in the Company's History

SURPRISE, Ariz., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SenesTech, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNES), the leader in rodent birth control and sustainable rodent population management, today announced preliminary revenue results for the third quarter of 2026. The Company plans to release its definitive third quarter financial results the week of November 9, 2026.

SenesTech, Inc. is a pioneer in fertility control solutions for managing rodent populations.

Preliminary third quarter 2026 revenue was approximately $1.1 million, representing approximately 40% growth compared with the second quarter of 2026 and approximately 55% growth compared with the third quarter of 2025. It was also the Company's first quarter at or above the $1 million revenue threshold, a key milestone.

The Company expects its definitive third quarter financial results to reflect continued momentum in e-commerce, including higher subscription revenue, which is expanding the recurring component of SenesTech's revenue base, as well as increasing traction in B2B.

"Our preliminary third quarter revenue marks an important milestone for SenesTech, reaching the $1 million threshold for the first time and setting a second consecutive quarterly record," said Michael Edell, Chief Executive Officer of SenesTech. "This is another quarter demonstrating progress on the plans and strategies we have previously announced, and our full third quarter financial results are expected to reflect that progress across the commercial model we have been building. E-commerce continues to scale as a controllable, data-driven acquisition engine, our vertical-focused B2B organization is gaining traction, and higher subscription revenue is expanding our recurring revenue base and improving the quality and visibility of revenue."

"We still have work to do, but we believe this is a clear indication that we are on the right path. We continue to lay the foundation for a much larger company in the future by working to expand e-commerce and B2B significantly in a cost-effective manner. With many of the investments and transition costs incurred earlier in the year increasingly behind us, coupled with strong revenue growth and improved unit economics, we expect continued, improved metrics going forward," Edell concluded.

The preliminary third quarter 2026 revenue presented in this release is unaudited, preliminary and subject to adjustment, and remains subject to completion of the Company's quarter-end closing procedures.
