Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Sanwire (SNWR) signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Bateau Asset Management, an Australian investment firm with offices in Singapore. Consideration comprises 1,424,115 Series G Preferred shares convertible into common stock, a $250,000 convertible promissory note and $100,000 cash payable in interest-free installments over three years. The note matures October 1, 2028, and is interest-free for the first 12 months.

Closing is anticipated in Q4 2026, when Sanwire plans to begin consolidating Bateau’s financials. Bateau’s Global Opportunities Fund had net assets exceeding $7.5 million as of July 2026. Bateau reported revenue of $116,188 for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025. All figures are unaudited and stated in US dollars using USD$1.00 equal to AUD$1.428. Sanwire expects the acquisition to provide entry into Australian and Southeast Asian financial services markets.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.
