Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

SciSparc (SPRC) announced that subsidiary NeuroThera Labs completed manufacturing and obtained batch release certification for SCI-110's Phase IIb Tourette syndrome trial.

The European Qualified Person certification authorizes shipment of clinical trial supplies to participating sites. All three sites, at Yale, Hannover Medical School and Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, have completed site initiation activities and are prepared to receive supplies. NeuroThera expects shipments in the near term as it advances toward patient enrollment. The FDA-approved trial is evaluating the investigational drug's efficacy, safety and tolerability in adults with Tourette syndrome.

"U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) approved clinical trial program"
The FDA is the U.S. federal agency that evaluates and approves medical drugs, devices, biological therapies and certain foods; think of it as the gatekeeper that decides whether a medical product is safe and effective for patients. For investors, FDA decisions determine whether a company can sell a product, affect expected revenue and introduce regulatory risk, so approvals, rejections or safety warnings can quickly move a company's valuation and stock price.

"FDA-approved Phase IIb clinical trial for TS"
Phase IIb is a mid-stage clinical trial that tests whether an experimental treatment works and what dose is best by studying it in a larger group of patients than early tests. For investors, Phase IIb results are important because they substantially reduce uncertainty about a drug’s effectiveness and safety, and positive or negative outcomes often drive company valuation, partnership interest, and the likelihood of advancing to the large, costly Phase III trials.

A qualified person is someone with specialized knowledge, experience, and training in a particular field, allowing them to accurately assess and verify information or work. TEL AVIV, Israel, Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SciSparc Ltd. (Nasdaq: SPRC) (“Company” or “SciSparc”), today announced that its subsidiary, NeuroThera Labs Inc. (TSXV: NTLX) ("NeuroThera"), a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing novel treatments for central nervous system disorders, has achieved further progress in its U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) approved clinical trial program evaluating SCI-110 for the treatment of Tourette Syndrome (“TS”) in adults.

NeuroThera has successfully completed the manufacturing of the investigational product and obtained the required batch release certification from a European Qualified Person (“QP”), a key regulatory milestone authorizing shipment of clinical trial material to participating study sites. The release enables site activation activities and supports the initiation of patient enrollment in the FDA-approved Phase IIb clinical trial for TS.

The Phase IIb clinical trial is being conducted at three clinical sites: Yale Child Study Center at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, USA; Hannover Medical School in Hanover, Germany; and Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. All participating sites have successfully completed their site initiation activities and are prepared to receive clinical trial drug supplies following QP batch release.

Completion of site initiation activities across all participating clinical centers, together with the successful European QP release of clinical trial supplies, marks a significant operational milestone for NeuroThera, which is now advancing toward patient enrollment in its Phase IIb clinical trial for TS, with investigational product shipments to study sites expected in the near term.

SCI-110 is NeuroThera’s proprietary, patent-protected cannabinoid-based drug candidate, combining dronabinol and palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) in a single oral dosage form. The Phase IIb study is evaluating SCI-110's efficacy, safety and tolerability in adults with TS, a condition with substantial unmet treatment needs.
