Stellantis ($STLA) has announced the winners of its 2025 Drive for Design contest, where high school students were challenged to design future Chrysler brand vehicles. The contest, which received around 30 eligible entries, awarded three talented 11th-grade students:

- First place: Ryan Panizzoli (Michigan) - Wins summer internship at Ram Truck design studio, iPad Pro with Apple Pencil, and invitation to judge at EyesOn Design car show

- Second place: Felix Bucaro (Wisconsin)

- Third place: Owen Bronson (Michigan)

Second and third place winners receive iPad Pros, virtual networking opportunities, social media features, and scholarships to College for Creative Studies' Precollege Summer Experience program. Jeep (STLA) has unveiled the first official images of its refreshed 2026 Grand Cherokee, marking a new chapter for America's best-selling full-size SUV. The updated model is currently undergoing final validation testing, with engineers focusing on powertrain refinement, technology integration, safety features, and all-weather capability. Dodge, a Stellantis (NYSE: STLA) brand, has launched the new Start Defender theft-deterrent system for 2018-2023 model-year Dodge Charger and Challenger vehicles, coinciding with HEMI Day on April 26. The system, priced at $695 MSRP, features a CAN-based starting circuit interrupt system with two-factor authentication.

The Start Defender system includes a private, encrypted Wi-Fi network for setup and management, accommodating up to four different button sequences for multiple drivers. Stellantis and Factorial Energy have achieved a significant breakthrough in solid-state battery development, successfully validating automotive-sized cells with 375Wh/kg energy density. The validated 77Ah FEST® cells demonstrated over 600 cycles progressing towards automotive qualification.
