Greenway Grid Global and Tokyo Electric Power Grid have announced the launch of "Electric Power Asset NFTs" starting April 3, 2023. These NFTs, which represent images of power assets like transmission towers, will be sold on their websites and are part of the expanding Web3.0 trend. The global NFT market is projected to grow significantly, and the domestic market in Japan is expected to rise from several tens of billions of yen to hundreds of billions by 2030. Prices for NFTs range from 3,000 to 100,000 yen depending on the rank of the card. Collaborations with Digital Entertainment Asset aim to create added value beyond ownership, enhancing engagement within the power industry.
