unleveraged internal rate of return financial
Unleveraged internal rate of return is the annualized percentage return a project or asset produces when measured using only its own cash flows, without any borrowed money or interest costs included. It matters to investors because it shows the pure operational profitability of an investment—like checking a car’s fuel efficiency without considering a loan—so different opportunities can be compared on a level playing field.
