Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
“Our corporate responsibility goals are focused on reducing our environmental impact, fostering an engaged and high-performing workforce, enhancing the resident experience, and maintaining strong governance and transparency with our shareholders,” said Tom Toomey, UDR’s Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer. “I am proud of the progress our teams made toward these goals, from expanding renewable energy and sustainable certifications to further lowering associate turnover, all of which reflects the dedication and focus of our teams and strengthens both our culture and our long-term results.”
UDR’s process for setting and achieving its corporate responsibility goals involves listening to its associates, residents, and investors. Considering feedback from these and other stakeholders, including stewardship and investment teams, governance groups, and third-party monitoring services, UDR continues to enhance its corporate responsibility initiatives, disclosures, and processes.
