Key Terms

russell 3000 index financial
A broad stock market index that tracks the performance of the roughly 3,000 largest publicly traded U.S. companies by total market value, representing almost the entire U.S. equity market. Investors use it like a big basket or thermometer: it provides a simple snapshot of overall U.S. stock market health, serves as a benchmark for funds and portfolios, and helps measure diversification, risk and returns over time.
russell 2000 financial
An index that tracks the performance of roughly 2,000 smaller publicly traded U.S. companies, ranked by their size measured in market value. Investors use it like a thermometer for the small‑company segment of the stock market: it shows how that part of the market is doing, serves as a common benchmark for small‑cap funds, and helps gauge risk appetite and economic trends that often affect smaller businesses more than large ones.
ftse russell financial
FTSE Russell is a global index provider that creates and maintains lists (indexes) showing how groups of stocks perform, similar to a scoreboard that ranks companies by size, sector and trading activity. Investors use these indexes as benchmarks and as the basis for investment products like index funds and ETFs, so when a stock is added or removed it can trigger buying or selling that affects its price and liquidity.
index funds financial
A fund that pools investors’ money to buy the same collection of stocks or bonds that make up a market index — like a ready-made basket representing the whole market or a specific slice of it. It matters because it gives broad exposure with lower fees and simpler management than picking individual securities, reducing the impact of any single holding and making it efficient for long-term investing.
small cap equities financial
Stocks of companies with relatively small total market value, representing businesses that are like neighborhood shops compared with large nationwide chains. They matter to investors because they can offer bigger growth opportunities as the companies expand, but also come with higher risk: their prices tend to swing more, their shares can be harder to buy or sell quickly, and they may be more sensitive to economic changes.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Venu Holding Corporation ("VENU" or the "Company") (NYSE American: VENU), owner, operator, and developer of premium live entertainment destinations, today announced that it will be included in the Russell 3000® Index as part of the 2026 semi-annual reconstitution. The addition follows publication of FTSE Russell's preliminary list of index changes on May 22, 2026. The reconstitution becomes final after the U.S. market close on Friday, June 26, 2026, with index changes reflected from the market open on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Based on the preliminary list, the Company expects to be included in the small-cap Russell 2000® Index, along with the relevant growth and/or value style indexes; final membership is confirmed at the conclusion of the reconstitution.

“Joining the Russell indexes is an honor that comes as we scale our portfolio of premium live entertainment destinations, broadening our access to institutional investors who can support our continued growth,” said J.W. Roth, CEO and Founder of VENU.

According to FTSE Russell, approximately $12.2 trillion in investor assets are benchmarked to or invested in products based on the Russell US Indexes, spanning both index funds and active strategies. The Russell 2000, in particular, is widely regarded as the leading benchmark for U.S. small cap equities, making index membership a meaningful driver of institutional visibility and access to index-tracking capital. FTSE Russell is publishing preliminary membership updates throughout the process, with remaining updates expected on June 5, June 12, and June 18.
