Vishay Intertechnology's VCNL36828P fully integrated proximity sensor has received two prestigious awards: the 2024 China IoT Innovation Award and the 2024 EE Awards Asia Award. The sensor features a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) and combines multiple components in a compact 2.0 mm x 1.0 mm x 0.5 mm package. The device offers enhanced efficiency with minimal power losses and improved thermal performance with a RthJC of 0.21 °C/W. The PowerPAK 10x12 package provides 27% PCB space savings and 50% lower profile compared to TO-263-7L.

Vishay Intertechnology's IHPT series of haptic feedback actuators with Immersion licenses has been named a finalist for the 2024 Elektra Awards in the 'Passive and Electromechanical Product of the Year' category.
