VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- WELL Health Technologies Corp. (TSX: WELL) (the “Company” or “WELL”), a digital healthcare company focused on positively impacting health outcomes by leveraging technology to empower healthcare practitioners and their patients globally, is pleased to announce the rebrand of its cybersecurity division to CYBERWELL, and its new CEO, Jeffrey Engle.

The rebrand to CYBERWELL marks a strategic consolidation of several leading WELL cybersecurity firms, Source44, SeekIntoo, Cycura, and Proack Security, into a single, unified platform. This move enhances operational efficiency, strengthens brand equity, combines the unique and complimentary capabilities of each of the legacy businesses, empowers CYBERWELL’s sales and business development teams with a cohesive and more comprehensive line-up of products and services, and positions WELL to better serve the growing demand for advanced cybersecurity capabilities across North America and beyond.

CYBERWELL is now led by Jeffrey Engle, a seasoned technology executive, entrepreneur, and U.S. special operations veteran with deep expertise in cybersecurity and a proven record of value creation. Jeff has built and led multiple successful ventures in the cybersecurity space, most recently leading a company through a nine-figure exit. His leadership style blends operational rigor with strategic foresight, honed through years of navigating complex risk environments across both public and private sectors.

Jeff’s career reflects a mission-driven approach to protecting critical systems and data. He has helped shape industry dialogue on cyber resilience, data privacy, and infrastructure protection, and is known for building high-performing teams capable of delivering both innovation and disciplined execution. As CEO, he is focused on driving CYBERWELL’s evolution into a next-generation cybersecurity services company—anchored in recurring revenue, EBITDA growth, and long-term shareholder value.

“Cyber threats are increasing in volume, sophistication, and cost,” said Jeffrey Engle, CEO of CYBERWELL. “Healthcare and other critical infrastructure sectors especially are under growing pressure, and in the case of healthcare, these attacks can interrupt care, delay treatment, and put lives at risk. As threat actors become more advanced, most organizations struggle to keep pace. CYBERWELL unites deeply experienced cybersecurity teams within a holistic and unified services designed to scale. This new structure will give us the foundation to grow efficiently across Canada and beyond, while continuing to deliver the proactive, high-impact outcomes our clients rely on. Our vision is global, and we are committed to building one of the leading cybersecurity services companies in the world.”

This strategic alignment further enhances WELL’s position as a digital health leader by expanding its capabilities into the high-growth cybersecurity arena with a focus on multiple industries including but not limited to the increasingly data rich global healthcare sector. CYBERWELL will pursue a disciplined growth strategy centered on recurring revenue, EBITDA expansion, and market share acquisition—complementing WELL’s broader platform strategy.

Hamed Shahbazi, Founder and CEO of WELL Health commented, “The WELL family couldn’t be prouder to welcome Jeffrey Engle as CEO of ‘CYBERWELL’, our newly rebranded Cybersecurity business. Jeff is a veteran of the United States Army Special Operations Command, a former senior vice commander and Military Order of the Purple Heart. He has also recently operated, scaled and successfully exited a very valuable cybersecurity business. He is a rare breed of leader and inspires tremendous teamwork and confidence. We are excited to back Jeff and look forward to communicating the many successes and value creation events we will have to our shareholders. WELL intends for CYBERWELL to serve as a growth engine within its portfolio, with an active pipeline of merger and acquisition opportunities both in Canada and internationally. As with other successful WELL subsidiaries, CYBERWELL may be considered for a future spinout, providing an additional potential avenue for shareholder value creation.
