Zentek (ZTEKF) has notified Nasdaq that it does not intend to continue its listing and will not pursue a share consolidation now. Nasdaq granted continued listing after an appeal, conditional on consolidation and a closing bid price of at least US$1.00 for ten consecutive trading days by December 24, 2026.
The shares were suspended from Nasdaq trading and began trading on OTCQX as ZTEKF effective September 2, 2026. They continue trading on the TSX Venture Exchange as ZEN. Management said capital and attention are better directed toward advancing Albany, developing routes to market and revenue, and progressing Triera.
Zentek (ZTEKF) announced two team additions for ZenGUARD commercialization and investor relations, alongside the departure of a senior executive. Angela Lomets will join effective October 14, 2026 as non-executive Vice President, Commercialization – ZenGUARD, reporting to the CEO. Its preliminary economic assessment technical report has been filed, and preparations for a potential prefeasibility study are underway.
Zentek (ZTEKF) will present Albany graphite purification results at the International Nuclear Graphite Specialists Meeting on October 22, 2026. CEO Mohammed Jiwan's presentation in Osaka is listed in the tentative program and will seek guidance on specifications and characterisation partners.
Bench-scale testing achieved a maximum measured purity of 99.99985 wt.% carbon without hydrofluoric acid. Earlier testing reported 99.9992 wt.% carbon and equivalent boron content of 2.60 ppm. The material has not been irradiated or characterised against reference grades, and nuclear qualification has not been achieved. Albany's preliminary economic assessment models its 5N product at US$50,000 per tonne, using nuclear-grade synthetic graphite as a price analogue. Zentek aims to complete a pre-feasibility study and pursue nuclear qualification.
Zentek (ZTEKF) has shipped its first ZenGUARD Enhanced Air Filters order to a federal facility under a Government of Canada standing offer.
The standing offer covers HVAC filtration products for federal facilities in the National Capital Region. It runs to August 18, 2027, with a maximum published value of CAD $348,666.84. That amount is not guaranteed revenue: the arrangement sets no minimum order count or purchase volume. The filters are also on the Innovative Solutions Canada Pathway to Commercialization source list, allowing federal departments and agencies to purchase them directly.
Zentek (ZTEKF) filed its Albany graphite technical report on September 24, 2026, estimating US$3,854.5 million in after-tax net present value.
The preliminary economic assessment uses a 5% discount rate and estimates a 27.4% after-tax internal rate of return and 4.4-year discounted after-tax payback. It projects US$817.0 million in initial capital, 30,000 tonnes of finished graphite products annually over a 30-year production period, and US$651.3 million in average annual gross revenue. The report supports results announced August 10, 2026; an updated operating-cost tabulation did not change the underlying economic model.
The acid- and halogen-free purification route has been tested at bench scale, but its modeled performance and product specifications remain unvalidated at continuous commercial scale or through customer qualification. Micon recommends a pre-feasibility study. No permit application has been submitted, and no construction decision has been made.
Zentek (ZTEKF) has been pre-qualified under Canada's Defence Drone Initiative Marketplace and issued Supply Arrangement CW2467305, running from August 26, 2026 to July 31, 2031.
The Defence Investment Agency is the supply arrangement authority and sole identified user on behalf of the Department of National Defence. Pre-qualification makes Zentek eligible to respond to task solicitations, but a Supply Arrangement is not a contract and carries no committed value.
