Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Summary

Zentek (ZTEKF) has notified Nasdaq that it does not intend to continue its listing and will not pursue a share consolidation now. Nasdaq granted continued listing after an appeal, conditional on consolidation and a closing bid price of at least US$1.00 for ten consecutive trading days by December 24, 2026.

The shares were suspended from Nasdaq trading and began trading on OTCQX as ZTEKF effective September 2, 2026. They continue trading on the TSX Venture Exchange as ZEN. Management said capital and attention are better directed toward advancing Albany, developing routes to market and revenue, and progressing Triera.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Guelph, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - October 26, 2026) - Zentek Ltd. (TSXV: ZEN) (OTCQX: ZTEKF) ("Zentek" or the "Company") today provides an update on the Nasdaq appeal process it began after The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq") issued its delisting determination, as disclosed in the Company's August 28, 2026 news release.

After completing the appeal process, Nasdaq granted the Company's request for continued listing, conditional on the Company completing a share consolidation and demonstrating compliance with the US$1.00 minimum bid price requirement under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2), as evidenced by a closing bid price of at least US$1.00 for ten consecutive trading days by December 24, 2026.

The Board and Management have determined not to proceed with a share consolidation at this time. Having weighed the benefits of maintaining the Nasdaq listing at this time, it concluded that Zentek's capital and management attention are best directed at the work that builds long-term value for shareholders: advancing Albany, developing routes to market and revenue, and progressing Triera. The Company will reassess a senior listing as it reaches milestones that would make one more valuable to shareholders.

Accordingly, the Company has notified Nasdaq that it does not intend to continue with its listing. Effective September 2,2026 the Company's common shares were suspended from trading on Nasdaq and began trading on the OTCQX (ZTEKF) in the United States. The Company's common shares continue to trade in Canada on the TSX Venture Exchange (ZEN).

"We believe the right decisions are those that strengthen Zentek's fundamentals and position the Company for sustainable growth," said Mohammed (Moe) Jiwan, Chief Executive Officer of Zentek. "By remaining focused on execution and disciplined capital allocation, we aim to build meaningful, lasting value for our shareholders. We will continue to evaluate opportunities to enhance our market presence as the Company's business and commercial prospects evolve."
