How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Filing Explained

Quarterly financing cash flow included $4,474 thousand used for RSU tax-withholding share repurchases.

The Aehr Test Systems quarter-end statements report cash, cash equivalents and restricted cash of $105.1 million at September 25, 2026, versus $116.5 million at May 29, 2026; issued and outstanding common shares were 32,663 thousand versus 32,480 thousand at those dates.

The cash-flow statement separately records $4,474 thousand used for shares repurchased for tax withholdings on restricted-stock-unit vesting.

Revenue $33.0 million First quarter fiscal 2027; up 200% year over year
GAAP net income $7.2 million First quarter fiscal 2027; compared with a $2.1 million loss a year earlier
Non-GAAP net income $9.4 million First quarter fiscal 2027
Bookings $46.7 million First quarter fiscal 2027; book-to-bill ratio approximately 1.4
Effective backlog $109.3 million As of November 1, 2026
Fiscal 2027 revenue outlook $150 million Updated outlook
Operating cash used $3.054 million Three months ended September 25, 2026
GAAP gross margin 47.5% First quarter fiscal 2027
book-to-bill ratio financial
"representing a book-to-bill ratio of approximately 1.4."
The book-to-bill ratio compares the value of new orders a company receives to the value of products it ships out or bills for over a certain period. If the ratio is above 1, it means the company is getting more orders than it is completing, which can indicate growth. If it's below 1, it suggests demand is slowing down.
effective backlog financial
"Effective backlog, including bookings received after quarter end"
wafer-level burn-in (WLBI) technical
"Demand for our FOX™ wafer-level burn-in (WLBI) solutions remains strong."
Wafer-level burn-in (WLB) is a manufacturing test where semiconductor chips are electrically stressed and heated while still attached to the full silicon wafer to reveal early-life failures before they are cut into individual units. Think of it like running a batch of freshly baked cookies under heat to find the ones that crack — catching weak parts early reduces returns and warranty costs, improves product reliability, and can boost manufacturing yield and supply predictability, all of which matter to investors evaluating profitability and risk.
high-power package-level burn-in (PLBI) technical
"Sonoma high-power package-level burn-in (PLBI) business is also expanding rapidly."
Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) technical
"at one of its key Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) partners in Taiwan"
Outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) are specialist service providers that take finished silicon chips and perform packaging, connecting them to carriers, and all final quality checks before the chips ship to customers. Think of them as a contract workshop and inspection line that turns fragile wafers into ready-to-use components. Investors watch OSATs because they sit at a crucial supply-chain bottleneck: their capacity, reliability, and pricing affect chip delivery times, product quality, and margins across the semiconductor industry.
Revenue $33.0 million Up 200% year over year and 75% sequentially
GAAP net income $7.2 million Compared with a $2.1 million net loss in the first quarter of fiscal 2026
Non-GAAP net income $9.4 million Compared with $0.2 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2026

“Demand for our FOX™ wafer-level burn-in (WLBI) solutions remains strong. Our lead AI processor WLBI production customer continues to expand capacity, supported by the $22 million follow-on order announced in August 2026. We have also made significant progress with a major supplier of AI accelerators, CPUs, and network processors that successfully completed a benchmark evaluation last quarter. This customer has decided to purchase a fully configured FOX-XP WLBI test cell for installation at one of its key Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) partners in Taiwan, where the system will be evaluated in a high-volume production environment using the same device that was successfully tested in last quarter’s benchmark. Installation is planned for early calendar 2027, with a decision regarding high-volume production anticipated within several months following installation and validation. We believe this customer represents one of the largest potential burn-in system opportunities Aehr has ever pursued, with significant potential across multiple product lines and manufacturing locations.

“Our Sonoma high-power package-level burn-in (PLBI) business is also expanding rapidly. We are currently shipping and installing more than a dozen systems per month to support our lead hyperscale customer’s production ramp for its first AI processor. The same customer’s second AI processor has now successfully completed qualification on Sonoma, and we have received follow-on orders to support initial production sampling and an anticipated production ramp in calendar 2027. Importantly, the customer forecasts that this second processor will ultimately reach higher production volumes than its first. We are also advancing evaluations with additional AI processor suppliers and hyperscale customers, creating opportunities for new production programs.

“Another important development is the significant diversification of our customer base. Historically, we had only a handful of customers with the potential to generate significant production orders. Today, we see that potential across more than a dozen customers spanning AI processors, silicon photonics, silicon carbide, gallium nitride, and other applications.

“With existing customers expanding production, new AI processor programs advancing toward high-volume production, and an increasingly diversified pipeline of opportunities, we believe Aehr is exceptionally well positioned to capitalize on the growing need for advanced semiconductor test and burn-in solutions over the next several years.”

Non-GAAP measures should not be considered a replacement for GAAP results. The non-GAAP measures indicated above are financial measures the Company uses to evaluate the underlying results and operating performance of the business. The limitation of these measures are that they exclude items that impact the Company's current period GAAP measures. This limitation is best addressed by using these measures in combination with the most directly comparable GAAP financial measures. These measures are not in accordance with GAAP and may differ from non-GAAP methods of accounting and reporting used by other companies.
