Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Aimei Health Technology Co., Ltd. (AFJK) extended the period to complete its initial business combination by one month, from October 6, 2026, to November 6, 2026, after $34,330.96 was deposited into its trust account for public shareholders. The company issued an unsecured, non-interest-bearing promissory note with principal of $34,330.96 to Aimei Investment Ltd. to fund the payment. The amendment removes a reference to United Hydrogen from the prior note description and leaves the other information unchanged.

initial business combination financial
"consummate its initial business combination"
An initial business combination is the deal in which a special-purpose acquisition company (SPAC) merges with or acquires an operating business to bring that business onto public markets. Think of the SPAC as an empty shell that raises money from investors, then uses that cash to buy a private company—this transaction turns the private company into a public one and often changes its ownership, valuation, and access to capital, so investors should watch for shifts in risk, future growth prospects, and shareholder rights.
Extension Payment financial
"representing the lesser of (i) $80,000"
unsecured promissory note financial
"issued ... an unsecured promissory note"
An unsecured promissory note is a written IOU in which a borrower promises to repay a loan plus any interest but does not pledge any asset as collateral. Investors care because it relies solely on the borrower’s ability to pay—like lending money to someone without holding their watch as security—so it usually carries higher interest and higher risk and ranks below secured debt if the borrower defaults, affecting expected recovery and company credit profile.
private units financial
"convert the Promissory Note ... into private units"
Termination Date financial
"from October 6, 2026 to November 6, 2026"
Termination date is the specific calendar day when a contract, agreement, option or other legal arrangement stops being in effect and any remaining rights or obligations expire. For investors it matters because that date sets deadlines for exercising rights, receiving payments, closing positions or avoiding penalties—similar to the day a lease or warranty ends, after which parties no longer have the same protections or claims.
