Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions Inc. (AITX) reported that its subsidiary Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD) recorded orders for 14 units (11 ROSA, two RIO, one TOM) in a single 24-hour period across five customers and multiple market sectors. If all units are deployed and placed into service under current terms, these orders are estimated to generate about $150,000 in annualized recurring revenue to RAD, net of channel-partner margin, though AITX states these orders are not material to its overall results.

The company highlights its AI-driven Solutions-as-a-Service model targeting the nearly $50 billion U.S. security and guarding services industry, with claimed customer cost savings of 35%–80% versus traditional guarding. It notes completion of a SOC 2 Type 2 audit for its operations and internal controls.

AITX also discloses challenging financial conditions. For the fiscal year ended February 28, 2026, it reported $7,745,336 in revenue and a $11,943,397 loss from operations. As of that date, total liabilities were about $58 million and total assets about $9 million, resulting in a stockholders’ deficit of roughly $49 million. Auditors issued a going-concern qualification, and the company states its cash on hand is insufficient to fund operations for an extended period without additional, likely dilutive, financing.

Positive

  • SOC 2 Type 2 audit successfully completed for operations and internal controls, supporting credibility with enterprise and government clients that require rigorous data protection and compliance.
  • RAD’s 24-hour order intake could generate about $150,000 in annualized recurring revenue and reflects traction across multiple solutions, sectors and sales channels, reinforcing the company’s recurring-revenue model (though explicitly noted as not material to overall results).

Negative

  • Auditors issued a going-concern qualification, expressing substantial doubt about AITX’s ability to continue as a going concern.
  • For the year ended February 28, 2026, AITX had $7.7 million revenue and a $11.9 million loss from operations, indicating ongoing significant operating losses.
  • As of February 28, 2026, AITX reported $58 million in total liabilities and $9 million in total assets, resulting in a stockholders’ deficit of about $49 million.
  • AITX states that cash on hand is insufficient to fund operations for an extended period without additional financing, which it expects will be dilutive to existing stockholders.

Filing Explained

As of May 31, 2026, AITX had $94,643 in cash; against its last reported quarterly operating cash outflow of $2,759,307, that equals 3.2 days of operating cash use at that historical rate.

Sources and calculations
  • Available liquidity against the last reported quarterly operating outflow, in days at that rate $94,643 / ($2,759,307 / 92) = 3.2 days

annualized recurring revenue financial
"represent approximately $150,000 of annualized recurring revenue to RAD"
Annualized recurring revenue is the predictable income a business expects to earn over a year from ongoing customer subscriptions or contracts. It’s similar to estimating how much money you would make in a year if your current monthly income stayed the same. Investors use this figure to assess the stability and growth potential of a company's revenue stream.
going concern financial
"auditors issued a going concern qualification expressing substantial doubt"
Going concern is the accounting assumption that a company will keep operating and meeting its obligations for the foreseeable future. The phrase matters most when a company or its auditors disclose substantial doubt about it, a formal warning that the business may not have enough resources to continue without raising money, restructuring, or selling assets. That language in a filing or press release signals elevated financial risk.
Solutions-as-a-Service financial
"with its AI-driven Solutions-as-a-Service model"
SOC 2 Type 2 technical
"successful completion of its SOC 2 Type 2 audit"
SOC 2 Type 2 is an independent audit that verifies a service provider’s operational controls for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy over a sustained period. Think of it as a multi-week inspection that checks not just that security measures exist but that they actually work day to day; for investors, a clean SOC 2 Type 2 report lowers the risk of data breaches, downtime and regulatory problems and signals stronger operational reliability.
channel partner financial
"net of channel-partner margin"

AITX's RAD Posts Most Diverse 24-Hour Order Intake in Company History

Direct and Dealer Channel Activity Spans Five Customers, Three Solutions and Multiple
Market Sectors

Detroit, Michigan, August 27, 2026 -- Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (the "Company") (OTCID:AITX), a developer and operator of AI-driven security and productivity solutions for enterprise clients, along with its wholly owned subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), today announced that RAD received orders for 14 units across five customer relationships during a single 24-hour period, marking the most diverse day of order intake in RAD history in terms of multiple orders from multiple sources. The orders, comprising 11 ROSA™ units, two RIO™ units and one TOM™, are expected, if all units are manufactured, delivered, installed, accepted and placed into service under their current terms, to represent approximately $150,000 of annualized recurring revenue to RAD, net of channel-partner margin. See "Certain Metrics" below.

Artist’s depiction representing orders for 11 ROSAs, two RIOs and one TOM received by RAD during a single 24-hour period.

The 24-hour activity spanned both RAD's direct sales operation and dealer channel. It included two additional ROSAs for an expanding property management deployment; five ROSAs for a vocational education facility; one TOM for a logistics location; three ROSAs and two RIOs ordered through a security dealer; and one ROSA ordered through a Canadian integration partner. The mix reflects demand across multiple market sectors while demonstrating RAD's ability to generate business through direct customer expansion and channel partner activity simultaneously.

The property management order adds two ROSAs to an existing deployment that will total 12 units once the new devices are installed. The ownership group behind the property controls 10 additional developments with similar security requirements, creating a potential expansion opportunity estimated at 50 to 100 additional units over time. Separately, five newly ordered ROSAs will provide permanent security at the vocational education facility.

"This is what sales momentum looks like when our direct team, channel partners and existing customers are all moving at once," said Troy McCanna, Chief Security Officer and Chief Revenue Officer at RAD. "I could not be prouder of the team behind this record 24-hour period. These orders span five customer relationships, three RAD solutions and several market sectors, while opening clear paths for additional expansion. That breadth is every bit as important as the unit count."

"Based on the current terms of these orders and anticipated deployment schedules, and assuming all 14 units are deployed and placed into service, we estimate that these orders would represent approximately $150,000 of annualized recurring revenue," said Steve Reinharz, CEO/CTO and founder of AITX and RAD. "That is the estimated financial contribution of this 24-hour period. The order mix demonstrates how growth across multiple solutions, sectors and sales channels can translate into expanding recurring revenue for RAD."

The Company invites prospective clients, channel partners, and industry participants to connect with its team to learn how RAD's solutions can support their security and operational objectives.
