Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Annovis Bio, Inc. received an NYSE notice that it no longer meets continued-listing standards because its 30 trading-day average market capitalization and stockholders’ equity were both below $50 million. As of October 28, 2026, its 30 trading-day average market capitalization was approximately $48.4 million; its last reported stockholders’ deficit was approximately $(4.3) million as of June 30, 2026.

Annovis notified the NYSE that it will submit a plan within 45 days of the October 29, 2026 notice, describing action taken or underway to regain compliance within 9 months of receiving it. The NYSE will review the plan and, within 45 days, decide whether it reasonably demonstrates the company’s ability to regain compliance within that period. If accepted, the plan allows the common stock to remain listed during the cure period, subject to compliance, with semi-annual NYSE reviews. An added “.BC” designation will identify the below-criteria status and be removed when compliance is regained. A late or unaccepted plan would lead to delisting proceedings; failure to comply by the end of the cure period can lead to suspension and delisting. The NYSE may accelerate delisting action if the stock trades below $0.10, a level it generally views as abnormally low. The notice does not affect business operations or SEC reporting obligations and does not cause a default under material agreements.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

continued listing standards regulatory
"no longer in compliance with the NYSE continued listing standards"
Ongoing rules a stock exchange requires a listed company to meet to keep its shares trading publicly, such as minimum share price, market value, timely financial reports, and governance practices. Think of it as a membership checklist for a club: falling short can lead to warnings or removal from the exchange, which can sharply reduce liquidity, investor confidence, and a stock’s value. Investors watch these standards to gauge regulatory risk and the stability of their holdings.
cure period regulatory
"at the end of the 9-month cure period"
A cure period is a set amount of time given to a borrower, counterparty, or contracting party to fix a missed payment, breach, or other problem before more serious consequences—like penalties, higher interest, or contract termination—kick in. For investors, it matters because it creates a short grace window that can prevent immediate losses and influence the timing and likelihood of recovery; think of it like a few extra days to pay a bill before a service is cut off.
stockholders’ deficit financial
"last reported stockholders’ deficit as of June 30, 2026"
Stockholders’ deficit is the situation where a company’s total liabilities exceed its total assets, so the book value attributed to shareholders is negative. Think of it like a household with more outstanding debts than the value of its house and possessions—this can signal past losses or aggressive payouts and raises the risk that shareholders may be wiped out, diluted, or face difficulty when the company needs new financing. Investors watch it as a warning about solvency and long‑term financial health.
abnormally low market
"trading below a price of $0.10 to be abnormally low"

AI-generated questions and answers. How Rhea-AI works. Not financial advice.

Why did ANVS receive an NYSE continued-listing notice?

Annovis received the notice because its 30 trading-day average market capitalization was below $50 million while stockholders’ equity was below $50 million. Its average market capitalization was approximately $48.4 million as of October 28, 2026, and its last reported stockholders’ deficit was approximately $(4.3) million as of June 30, 2026.

What is Annovis Bio’s timeline for responding to the NYSE notice?

Annovis notified the NYSE that it will submit a plan within 45 days of the October 29, 2026 notice, describing definitive action taken or underway to regain compliance within 9 months of receiving it. The NYSE will review the plan and, within 45 days, determine whether it reasonably demonstrates the company’s ability to regain compliance within that period.

Does the ANVS notice mean the stock will be delisted immediately?

No. The notice has no immediate impact on the listing. If the NYSE accepts the plan, the common stock will continue to trade during the cure period, subject to compliance, with a “.BC” designation. A late or unaccepted plan would lead to delisting proceedings, and failure to comply by the end of the cure period can lead to suspension and delisting.

At what price may the NYSE consider accelerated delisting action for ANVS?

The NYSE may take accelerated delisting action if Annovis common stock trades at levels it views as abnormally low. The NYSE generally views trading below $0.10 as abnormally low.
