Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Adjusted EBITDA is defined as EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, plus share-based compensation costs."
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
non-GAAP financial measures financial
"This Presentation includes certain financial measures not presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting"
Non-GAAP financial measures are numbers companies use to show their financial performance that exclude certain expenses or income. They help investors see how the company might perform without one-time costs or other unusual items, giving a different perspective from official reports. However, since they can be adjusted, they don’t always tell the full story and should be looked at alongside standard financial figures.
Revenue from Contracts with Customers financial
"Revenues: Revenue from Contracts with Customers:"
payout ratio financial
"Advisory fees & commissions, net of payout 73% 76% 74% 76% 75% Payout ratio"
The payout ratio measures what portion of a company’s profit is returned to shareholders, usually as cash dividends and sometimes including share buybacks. Investors use it like checking how big a slice of a cake the company gives away versus how much it keeps to fund growth or build a cushion; a very high ratio can signal limited room to sustain payouts, while a very low ratio may mean more reinvestment or potential for higher future payments.
Affiliated AUM financial
"Affiliated AUM represents the combined AUM of the independent unaffiliated RIA firms"

Definition - Non - GAAP Financial Measures • EBITDA is a non - GAAP financial measure defined as net income plus interest expense, provision for income taxes, and depreciation and amortization. Adjusted EBITDA is defined as EBITDA, a non - GAAP measure, plus share - based compensation costs. The Company presents EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA because mana gement believes that it can be a useful financial metric in understanding the Company’s earnings from operations. EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA are not measures of the Company’s financial performance under GAAP and should not be considered as an alternative to net income or any other performance measure derived in accordance with GA AP. Additionally, Adjusted EBITDA is used in connection with the Company’s credit agreements, specifically in the calculation of financial - related covenants. • Gross profit is a non - GAAP financial measure defined as total revenue less commissions paid to financial advisors and registered representatives and other fees that generate the revenue. We consider our gross profit amounts to be non - GAAP financial measures that may not be comparable to those of others in our industry. We believe that gross profit amounts can provide investors with useful insight into our core operating performance before other costs that are general and ad ministrative in nature.
