Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Catalyst Acquisition Corp. (symbol: CATLU) is the issuer of record for a Form 8-K filing submitted to the SEC.

Filing Explained

Beginning September 17, 2026, unit holders can trade the share and right separately; intact units continue trading as CATLU.

The September 15, 2026 8-K reports an Item 8.01 announcement that, beginning September 17, 2026, holders may separate each IPO unit into its included Class A ordinary share and right. The material consequence is a change in how those existing unit components may be traded.

Each unit contains one Class A ordinary share and one right that can provide one-seventh of a Class A ordinary share upon the company’s initial business combination. Only whole rights will trade; units that remain intact will continue trading as CATLU, while separated shares and rights are expected to trade as CATL and CATLR.

The separation option is not automatic: holders who choose it must have their brokers contact the transfer agent. The filing establishes the availability of separate trading from September 17, 2026, rather than reporting that every unit has already been separated.

Item 8.01 Other Events Other
Voluntary disclosure of events the company deems important to shareholders but not covered by other items.
Item 9.01 Financial Statements and Exhibits Exhibits
