Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Callan JMB Inc. (CJMB) requested a hearing on October 14, 2026, to appeal Nasdaq staff’s determination that the company did not meet the terms of an extension to regain compliance with Nasdaq’s $2,500,000 stockholders’ equity requirement. The extension followed a deficiency notice issued April 7, 2026, and ran through October 5, 2026. The company cited its inability to complete capital-raising initiatives and demonstrate compliance.

The hearing request stays the planned suspension of CJMB common stock and the Form 25-NSE filing pending the Nasdaq Hearings Panel’s decision. Without an appeal by October 19, 2026, suspension was scheduled for October 21, 2026. The company intends to demonstrate compliance, but said there can be no assurance the Panel will grant continued listing or that the company will regain and maintain compliance.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Stockholders’ Equity Requirement regulatory
"minimum of $2,500,000 in stockholders’ equity for continued listing"
A stockholders’ equity requirement is a minimum amount of net assets — assets minus liabilities — that a company must keep on its balance sheet to meet rules set by regulators, lenders or stock exchanges. Think of it as a required safety buffer or minimum bank balance that shows the company has enough of its own capital to absorb losses; falling below it can limit dividends, trigger covenants or risk sanctions, so investors watch it as a sign of financial health and compliance.
Nasdaq Hearings Panel regulatory
"requested a hearing before a Nasdaq Hearings Panel"
A Nasdaq hearings panel is a group of experts that reviews cases when a company's stock listing is at risk of being removed from the exchange. They evaluate whether the company has met certain standards and determine if it can keep trading on Nasdaq. This process matters to investors because it can affect a company's ability to raise money and maintain credibility in the market.
Form 25-NSE regulatory
"a Form 25-NSE will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission"
Form 25‑NSE is an official filing used to notify the stock exchange that a company’s securities are being removed from trading on that exchange, similar to handing in a key when a shop closes. Investors care because removal ends public trading on that venue, often cutting liquidity and making it harder to buy or sell shares, which can affect a stock’s price and how quickly investors can access cash or exit positions.

Item 3.01 Notice of Delisting or Failure to Satisfy a Continued Listing Rule or Standard; Transfer of Listing.

As previously disclosed, on April 7, 2026, Callan JMB Inc. (the “Company”) received a deficiency letter from the Listing Qualifications Department (the “Staff”) of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) notifying the Company that it was not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(b)(1), which requires the Company to maintain a minimum of $2,500,000 in stockholders’ equity for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market (the “Stockholders’ Equity Requirement”). The Staff granted the Company an extension until October 5, 2026 to regain compliance with the Stockholders’ Equity Requirement.

On October 12, 2026, the Company received a letter from the Staff (the “Staff Determination”) notifying the Company that, because the Company was unable to complete its capital raising initiatives and demonstrate compliance with the Stockholders’ Equity Requirement, the Staff has determined that the Company did not meet the terms of the extension. As a result, unless the Company requested an appeal of the Staff Determination by October 19, 2026, trading of the Company’s common stock will be suspended at the opening of business on October 21, 2026, and a Form 25-NSE will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), which will remove the Company’s securities from listing and registration on Nasdaq.

Pursuant to Nasdaq Listing Rule 5815(a), on October 14, 2026 the Company requested a hearing before a Nasdaq Hearings Panel (the “Panel”) to appeal the Staff Determination. The hearing request will stay the suspension of the Company’s common stock and the filing of the Form 25-NSE pending the Panel’s decision. The Company intends to vigorously demonstrate its compliance with the Stockholders’ Equity Requirement before the Panel. There can be no assurance that the Panel will grant the Company’s request for continued listing or that the Company will be able to regain compliance with the Stockholders’ Equity Requirement or maintain compliance with any other Nasdaq listing requirement.
