Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Rhea-AI Filing Summary

Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $2.574 billion, net income of $639 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $954 million, up 7%, 26% and 8%, respectively, year over year. For the first nine months, revenue was $8.757 billion, net income $1.986 billion and Adjusted EBITDA $3.112 billion, up 12%, 17% and 17%. Nine-month net income growth was partly offset by approximately $208 million of unfavorable derivative fair-value variances.

The partnership declared a $0.890 per common unit third-quarter cash distribution ($0.775 base and $0.115 variable), payable November 13, 2026, to holders of record November 3, 2026. Revised 2026 distribution guidance is $3.30-$3.40 per common unit, versus $3.10-$3.40 previously, with a $3.10 base distribution.

In October 2026, Sabine Pass Liquefaction agreed to supply QatarEnergy up to 2 mtpa of LNG from the early 2030s through 2054; 1 mtpa is subject, among other things, to a positive Final Investment Decision for the first phase of the SPL Expansion Project. FERC issued the phase’s final environmental impact statement in September 2026. A term loan is being sized to finance approximately 50% of the phase’s estimated project costs not expected to be funded with available cash; closing and funding are subject to customary conditions, including a positive Final Investment Decision.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Adjusted EBITDA financial
"Adjusted EBITDA is a non-GAAP financial measure"
Adjusted EBITDA is a way companies measure how much money they make from their core operations, like running a business, by removing certain costs or income that aren’t part of regular business activities. It helps investors see how well a company is doing without distractions from unusual expenses or gains, making it easier to compare companies or track performance over time.
free-on-board financial
"on a free-on-board (“FOB”) basis"
A shipping term that specifies who becomes responsible for goods and who pays shipping costs at which point during transit — commonly either when the item leaves the seller’s location (FOB origin) or when it arrives at the buyer’s location (FOB destination). It matters to investors because that handoff affects which party bears loss or damage, when a sale is counted, where inventory sits, and who carries shipping expense, all of which can change reported revenue, costs and cash flow; think of it like handing over car keys in the seller’s driveway versus at the buyer’s garage.
Final Investment Decision technical
"a positive Final Investment Decision (“FID”)"
A final investment decision is the point at which a person or organization chooses to move forward with a particular project or purchase after reviewing all the necessary information and options. It is like deciding to buy a house after considering all the costs, benefits, and alternatives. This decision is important because it determines whether and when the investment will be made, impacting future financial plans and outcomes.
final environmental impact statement regulatory
"issued the final environmental impact statement (“EIS”)"
A final environmental impact statement is the official, comprehensive report that assesses the likely environmental effects of a proposed project, describes alternatives, lists steps to reduce harm, and includes responses to public and agency comments. For investors it is like a project’s environmental report card: it signals whether regulators are likely to approve permits, how much delay or added cost to expect, and the legal or reputational risks that could affect a project's timeline or value.
limited notice to proceed technical
"under a limited notice to proceed (LNTP)"
A limited notice to proceed is a short, partial green light from a client that lets a contractor begin specific early work—such as site preparation, ordering long‑lead materials, or hiring crews—before the full contract is signed. For investors it signals that a project is moving from planning toward execution, which can accelerate revenue timing but also exposes the company to early costs and schedule risk if the full contract terms change; think of it as starting the foundation before the final building permit paperwork is complete.
Revenue $2.574 billion 7% year over year
Net income $639 million 26% year over year
Adjusted EBITDA $954 million 8% year over year
Guidance

Revised 2026 distribution guidance is $3.30-$3.40 per common unit, versus $3.10-$3.40 previously; the base distribution remains $3.10 per common unit.

Adjusted EBITDA is commonly used as a supplemental financial measure by our management and external users of our Consolidated Financial Statements to assess the financial performance of our assets without regard to financing methods, capital structures, or historical cost basis. Adjusted EBITDA is not intended to represent cash flows from operations or net income as defined by U.S. GAAP and is not necessarily comparable to similarly titled measures reported by other companies.
We believe Adjusted EBITDA provides relevant and useful information to management, investors and other users of our financial information in evaluating the effectiveness of our operating performance in a manner that is consistent with management’s evaluation of financial and operating performance.
Adjusted EBITDA is calculated by taking net income before interest expense, net of capitalized interest, depreciation and amortization, and adjusting for the effects of certain non-cash items, other non-operating income or expense items and other items not otherwise predictive or indicative of ongoing operating performance, including the effects of modification or extinguishment of debt, impairment expense, gain or loss on disposal of assets, changes in the fair value of our commodity derivatives prior to contractual delivery or termination, and amortization of deferred NPNS assets and liabilities. Changes in the fair value of commodity derivatives and amortization of deferred NPNS assets and liabilities are considered in determining Adjusted EBITDA given that the timing of recognizing gains and losses associated with these adjustments differs from the recognition of the related item economically hedged. We believe the exclusion of these items enables investors and other users of our financial information to assess our sequential and year-over-year performance and operating trends on a more comparable basis and is consistent with management’s own evaluation of performance.
