Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Units financial
"Series A Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Units"
A cumulative redeemable perpetual preferred unit is a type of investment that combines features of stock and debt: it pays fixed dividends like a bond, those dividends accumulate if skipped (cumulative), it has no fixed maturity date (perpetual), and the issuer has the right to buy it back at certain times or prices (redeemable). For investors it matters because it offers higher-priority, typically steady income but carries call risk and interest-rate sensitivity, and it ranks ahead of common equity for payments.
quarterly in arrears financial
"payable quarterly in arrears"
Payment or settlement that is made after each three-month reporting period rather than in advance; it means money owed for a quarter is paid at the end of that quarter or shortly thereafter. For investors, this affects the timing of cash flows and accounting records—similar to receiving rent at the end of a month instead of at the start—so revenues, expenses, and reported cash balances may lag the activity they relate to.
holders of record financial
"preferred unit holders of record as of November 4, 2026"
Names listed on a company’s official register at a specific cut-off date who are legally entitled to receive dividends, vote on corporate matters, or participate in other shareholder actions. Think of it like a guest list for an event: only those on the list at the snapshot time get the invitation or benefits, so investors watch the record date to know whether they will receive payouts or voting rights for a given corporate action.
multi-year charters technical
"LNG carriers employed on multi-year charters"
Multi-year charters are contracts that rent a vessel, aircraft, or other transport asset to one user for several consecutive years, similar to signing a multi-year lease on a car or apartment. For investors, they matter because they provide predictable, long-term revenue and higher asset utilization that reduce short-term earnings swings, while also introducing risks tied to contract terms, counterparty credit and changing market rates.
