Scrypt ASIC miners technical
"more than 500 additional ElphaPex DG2 Scrypt ASIC miners"
Scrypt ASIC miners are specialized computer chips and machines built to run the scrypt cryptographic algorithm used by certain cryptocurrencies, meaning they perform one kind of calculation much faster and more efficiently than general-purpose computers. For investors, they matter because their availability, cost, and energy efficiency affect how profitable mining is, influence network security and coin supply dynamics, and can shift competitive advantage in the mining industry.
Scrypt hashrate technical
"aggregate online Scrypt hashrate"
colocation facilities technical
"across four geographically diversified colocation facilities"
Colocation facilities are secure data centers where companies rent space and power to house their own computer servers next to an exchange’s or cloud provider’s equipment. For investors, colocation matters because being physically closer to trading engines cuts milliseconds off transaction time — like parking your car next to the service entrance so you get through faster — which can mean better execution, higher volumes, lower risk of missed trades, and additional operating costs to weigh.
deployed power capacity technical
"Total deployed power capacity is expected to increase"
